A few here run them. The posts I have seen gave good marks for traction. They are going to be on the loud side, especially as miles go up. I would expect about 30k miles out of them with street use.

    Too many, but not enough....
Matt runs them on Matts offroad recovery, that tells me enough!

I didn't, ended up going with falken at3w instead. Got a screaming deal on them I couldn't pass on.

Well shoot.. I've been trying to decide between very expensive ATs that will probably last a while, or cheap MTs that won't last as long.. Getting short on funds during this build..

The other advantage for the Patagonias, is that I would also buy the Discount Tire certificates.. Those things have saved me thousands of dollars over the years. I've gone through 12 tires on my Jeep in the last 10 years and only had to buy the first 5. The rest were replaced under the road hazard certificates long before the tread wore out.

If past experience predicts future outcome, then I am thinking the softer compound of the Patagonias might not be much as much of a downside as it could be.

They now have the mt02 which is the second gen of the tire. Supposed to have better tread life. Nothing is really "inexpensive " right now sadly. I got 4 falkens 325/60r20 for 1200 out the door so I threw my money at them and ran out the door lol

Yeah I would have done the same thing.. $1200 is what a set of tires cost 15+ years ago. That's a damn good deal.

And yeah, nothing is inexpensive right now, but the patagonias are $351 per tire while just about everything else is $450-$525 per tire. Times 5 tires, then tax, fees, certificates.. That adds up quick.

Wish Craigslist wasn't a ghost town in my area now. I used to get amazing deals there. Those original 5 tires I bought for my jeep were actually used. They had only 500 miles on them and I bought the set for $550. 33x12.50r15 Goodyear MTR/k. Steel wheels included. They also included the Discount certificates which were fully transferable.

Long story short, I got 12 tires and 5 wheels for $550 + the cost of 7 certificates which ranged in price from $25 - $45 as the price of tires increased.

Wish I could do that again.

Been there, done that. People on Facebook are all running 22in wheels with rubber band tires. Anybody on Facebook selling tires I could actually use must think they are made of gold. I've seen people trying to sell a single 37x12.5 BFG ko2 with 30% tread left for $400.

I went through 2 sets in two years. Brand new they were awesome nut after that they sucked. They are naturally cupped and you have to run them super high psi which give a rough ride through the tires.

    I have them in a 37X13.5X20

Not loud at all, they did start to look a little choppy on the outside edges @ about 19K but that went away by 22K.

Great traction in wet, except from a full stop when turning but I've had that with most tires.
Great when hard braking, really impressed by them actually.
I'll end up with 35K on them before I need to replace them, I'm @ 29K now

Same. I've been calling Discount Tire every 2 weeks for 2 months, trying to find out when they will be available. All they can tell me is "Not yet, maybe try back in a couple weeks?"

Lame. According to the Milestar website the 02s were supposed to be released at the end of 2021. Here we are over half way through 2022 and still no word.

I've tried contacting Milestar via their "contact us" form on their website several times over the last 2 months and haven't gotten any response.

I think it may depend on the specific size. 33s, 35s, 295s, etc, might be available, but the size I want, 37s, aren't available yet. At least according to Discount Tire when they call Milestar to ask.

That being said, I am pretty set on purchasing from Discount Tire. Those warranty certificates have saved me multiple thousands of dollars and no other distributor has anything even half as good.

Just got off the phone with Discount. Got my order placed. The tires must have just released in the last week or so.

By the way, they are only $369 at Discount. Then add another $70 for the certificates if you want them, then tax and fees, etc.

There are 15 of them in LA right now. I just bought 5 of them. 10 left.

Me too. Been waiting for a while... Still cost more than I thought though. Those certificates really went up in price.

But getting 5 brand new 37in tires for $2500 isn't too bad I guess. It would have been literally $3500 or more if I went with the standard Falken/BFG/Nitto options...

Yea everything is insane right now. Was looking at a set of 31x10.50r15 for a frontier I'm buying and even those are going to run around a grand . Stupid expensive.
