Westcott Black Anodized Lift Kit

Hate to say this but it probably will....I am thinking that if I don't get a tracking number by Thursday next week I am canceling my order and Yelp and Google review them....it won't be pretty

 

Apperantly there is only one company in the world that anodizes.....lol

 

Ordered March 2nd, just received yesterday.

 

Right, they are less than 25 mins outside of Scottsdale, AZ....there are so many companies that can do the work around them. Unless they signed a binding contract with a sole anodizing company to do all of the work...there should be other options. SMH

Yes Anodized. Seems like a quality product but website quoted 3 weeks when I ordered. Lots of unanswered emails through the 3 month wait.

 

Westcott is also in the middle of moving to a larger facility. They and their suppliers just cant keep up with all of the demand at this point.

 

Sorry OSU1978, but big boy rules....Westcott has been in business for more than a year. They understand the Aftermarket Off-Road community, they positioned themselves as the FIRST company to offer a lift for a BRAND NEW truck, they FLAUNTED the product on You Tube....to underestimate the DEMAND is unacceptable.

Well big boy I guess you are going to have to head over to Rough Country and pick up one of their lifts or you can just stop the whining and wait for one of the other manufacturers to release something.

I’m getting a lift done from Cornfed Suspension next week. I’ll report back how it is. Cornfed looks legit, and they don’t have any long wait times either. They have a 2/1 lift kit that is black UHMW and I was told that it will keep the same factory ride quality.

So correction, it’s not black anodized, it’s Black UHMW. It’s the same material Toyota uses for the base of the rear bump stop on their 4Runners and tundras.

 

I brought up info that they are in the process of moving in attempt to grow and expand and you start talking about big boy rules which makes no sense. I will leave your whiny thread so you can sulk about turnaround times when this is a world wide problem affecting just about every industry right now. Time to come out from under a rock and stop crying about a small business that is actually attempting to put out quality products as quickly as possible. Big boy rule #1, don’t be a whiny B.

Anyone care to weigh in on how the cornfed spacer lift 2.5/1” would compare to the westcott 3/1” lift?

Cornfed has No avs options options as of now .....so a no go for me

 

Approaching 12 weeks waiting with no expected shipping date. Originally ordered 3/10....about to cancel and order the icon stage 1 kit. I know Id still have to wait but at least I'd get a better product from a reliable company.

 

I did that and they refunded me minus the PayPal fee. However now I'm stuck waiting until September for the Icons.

 

I kinda agree westcott could be doing a lot better at making these kits available. I would be reaching out and having multiple shops doing the anodizing and if they have a contract with the place they are working with now I’d break contract as they are not keeping up with needs. At $450 for a spacer kit you think these things would be shipping out faster then you can push track your package!

 

You may want to trying giving Michael’s Toyota/The Toyota Garage in Bellevue and see if they have the kits in stock and will sell you one without them installing it (It was the same price as WD when I got mine done there).

Ask for Monroe Busenbark if you call over there.
