It holds true here. I've actually postponed fishing trips due to a red sky in the morning, almost always been a good thing.

I think tropical storms bend more than the rules.

 

I think it only works if you’re far out to sea.

Hey AZ crew - I’m gonna be down in Phoenix/Chandler on 6/13-6/16 for work. Staying in Chandler. Any must see/must do after hours stuff?

We get in Monday mid-morning and have the rest of that day open. Tuesday will be a 5am start at the site, but I think wrap up around 2pm. Wednesday and Thursday similar and we’ve got a late flight out Thursday night (9pm).
I’ll have a tagalong person that works for me, and my daughter is staying in Tempe house sitting for a friend that same time (she actually flies down tonight) so I’ll need to drag her along but she’s 21 now.

Yeah - unfortunately work is going to be laser scanning a concrete utility corridor that is currently open on both ends and excised on top. It is 60’ wide x 40’ high x 400 or so feet long though

Well I ran across this today and can finally confirm that Tomatoes do in fact belong on grilled cheese sandwiches. Woolworths is an American institution beyond reproach, and if you disagree, you're probably a Commie. Case closed.

On a side note, I felt pretty bad for the people who could only afford a lettuce and tomato sandwich.

 

nope - some of the new construction happening at the "confidential semi conductor client" that may or may not be somewhere in that area...

 

It is far from my first time in PHX - my wife went to ASU for a year, then lived down there another year (early 90's). Her good friend and housemate still lives in Tempe - maybe 10 blocks from campus. We have frequented Scottsdale over the years for spring break, since my in-laws have two time shares down there.

But if anyone wanted to meet up for a beer or to BS a bit, I'd be down.
