Tack that as is before it gets disturbed. Then mount it to the hood. Or use them as gussets...lol.

Consider some supports/gussets for side to side as well as front to back, if you haven't. I'm saying that because I recently learned that the side to side is violent at times. I stretched some metal and a Taco threw his shell off to the side of the road in the whoops.

Continuing my love/hate relationship with Morimoto mini-pods and mod-pods, I made a change. One of my 4 minis failed up front due to factory defect. My attempt to fix it failed eventually. So, I emailed them and told them what to do better, and bought more shit from them. So lame. But - I like the new mod-pods up front better than the minis. And repurposed the minis for a chase light. I need to get some different colored lenses all around. But, it occurred to me that if I can get a small piece of yellow plexi or lucite, I can make the chase light retro Toy colors.

Appreciate the input brother and if I hadn’t just came back from Coyote Flats after accidentally taking the challenging path to Funnel lake, I’d want as much support as possible. After that run, I don’t think the gussets I’m planning to weld on are even needed. Thing is bulletproof!

Nothing better than a field test. I'm still chasing down little stuff I want bullet-proof. 10 on the rack :101010:

Here is this as well if you want a rocker switch for your light bar that fits that oval cutout.

Question, my last button there seems like for the windshield? I don’t think I’ve ever used it b4 cause there’s an option for it on the 3 AC/heater knobs.

Am I misunderstanding what this button does or is it truly repetitive? Wouldn’t mind replacing it with something I need a switch for…

If you had a Ridgeline, this button would also turn on the defroster on your roll-down rear window (mind you our switch is on the center bezel underneath the cargo lamp button). :)

Take it easy with the AC guys. Not everyone is blessed enough to drive a Ridgeline.

I wish there was more tire options for my mr2 lol.
    Only
Option for a matches set are toyos aggressive race tire. Front tires are easy. Rear tire being 225/50r15? Yea I’m fucked

Probably just an odd sizing that no one sells.
Can you go a bit wider and see if that opens up options or will you have to go to 16s and buy new wheels to be able to find decent tires?

In the process of adopting (i.e.: free!) this old girl. '02 4.7 automatic RWD SR5, extended cab as you can see. It's only up to about 350k miles, timing belt was done at 330k so it's good for a while. She runs good, doesn't burn any oil. Everything works pretty well (except the oil temp gauge), even the CD player. Minor cosmetic issues, some bed rust (see my thread) but pretty good especially with a little preventative care. The paint is mostly ok with a few scratches & the roof needs attention.

My aunt bought it new in 2001. It's mostly done highway commuting and road trips & has been maintained by a respected local mechanic its whole life. I don't think it's ever really towed or done any heavy duty bed work beyond a little furniture/box hauling maybe.

Anything you guys would like to know about this truck? I'm thinking I'd like a bull bar or something up front but a lift or new wheels isn't in the stars just yet ;)

@Forg I'd replace those fog lights to match the new headlights. :boink:

Unless those are just polished waiting to come back to the old haze.

The driver's side is nice and new and shiny due to some sort of minor accident a few years ago that I don't understand- it didn't damage anything but the headlight housing! I might replace the driver's side & the fogs if they're not too expensive, it would look a lot nicer. (Driver's side isn't too bad but it stands out against the new passenger side.)

Tried out the cerakote headlight restoration kit I picked up for under 10 bucks on sale. Retrofit headlight coating failed within about a year and a half tops. I'll chalk that up to aftermarket headlamps.
Turned out ok. The inside has some fogish looking stuff so up close it's annoying but over all I can live with it for now. Probably have to order oem eventually to make my OCD happy..can still see small sanding lines from the kit. I didn't polish or compound because I just lost patience with the whole head lamp ordeal on my truck.

(Editing due to apparently being period happy. I swear I'm not a ra-tard. Just fat thumbs)

same here man. My aftermarket headlights are fogging and peeling from the inside also..about what I’d expect for what I paid.
