I suppose it's time for a new build. Tow Pig 1.0 was traded in a couple weeks ago. Not to worry though. It was replaced with a brand spanking new 2015 Tundra Platinum.

    Vehicle
    2015 Toyota Tundra CrewMax Platinum
    5.7L V8
    4x4 w/6 Speed

    Goodies
    TRD Supercharger
    Total Chaos UCAs
    King Coilovers set at 3"
    Total Chaos 3/4" Shackles
    King Rear Shocks
    TRD Rear Sway Bar
    Sequoia Front Sway Bar
MBRP Turn Down Single Side Cat Back
20% Window Tint on Front Side Windows
    Line-X Bed
    N-Fab Nerf Bars
    ESP Rear Under Seat Storage
    ESP Brake Controller Mounting Kit

    ...more to come...

I don't really consider these "mods" but whatever.

The stupid 4x4 badge was just ridiculous. The styling done with the Platinum are almost perfect. Fit and finish and design decisions were well thought out...and then someone said "Shit...we forgot to tell everyone that this truck is 4x4." It matched NOTHING on the truck. So it had to go.

Did the getting pulled over for the first time in the new truck mod (2 days after bringing it home).

Lastly, side window tint and nFab nerf bars. Had the nFab bars on my last Tundra. I personally hate nerf bars, but gotta make it easy for the misses and midgets to get in and the nFab one's have some styling to them. Looks stupid now, but will come to life when the lift, wheels, and tires go on.

Jberry - love the color, and I'm with you on the Nfabs. I like the look of mine better without them, but I had to make it easier for the wife and daughter to climb in and out of.

Question on the badge removal - did you "cut" it loose with fishing line? And what did you use to remove the adhesive?

I know this isnt for me, but use a fishing line behind it and wiggle it up / down. Also, using a blow dryer may help a little more with the extra heat. You can use Goof Off to remove the decal residue after peeling off what you can with your fingers.

    ^What he said.
I didn't use a heat gun. Just left the truck parked in the sun and fishing line cut through like butter.
Also I was out of goo-gone/goo-off, but WD40 works just as well. Quick clay bar and wax blends any shadows you may have.

OE kit. No compression adjusters. As a moonlighting shock tuner...they are worthless. They just restrict oil through the adjuster orifice.
ALL of my shock needs are fulfilled by Downsouth Motorsports. They've made a lifelong customer out of me. If you're in the market, call them and ask for Micah and tell him I sent you. If he gives you any guff at all, tell him I said to eat a dick. Actually you should open with that line. :D

Should update the build instead of just Live :anonymous:

Lift is installed. King Coilovers, TC UCA's, King rear smooth bodies, and TC 3/4" shackles. Set the coilovers right at 3" of lift for now. Looks my truck skipped leg day at the gym while I wait on wheels and tires.
