Thanks. I appreciate you doing that.
Though the only difference in the numbers on mine vs yours are the numbers after “DC” it looks like the connectors are pretty different.

Hey @Beer Man you wouldn’t happen to have a pic of the back of your Dasaita showing what you had plugged in would you?

It's been a while, but the only RCA I remember connecting was for my front camera, which was video in and maybe a power for the front camera. If you don't have the front camera on your truck, perhaps try disconnecting the RCAs only and then see if that works?

Thanks for the suggestion. I was thinking I might’ve had them plugged into the wrong harness so first I unplugged them with the radio playing and it didn’t make a difference. Then I plugged them into the harness out of the radio that has all the amp pre outs and that didn’t do anything either. I don’t believe those RCAs are the problem. I just don’t know what is. Everything else works exactly like it should..

This was from the Amazon page for the Canbus I used (I have a 2014 Non-JBL)
    Screen Shot 2022-06-01 at 3.06.49 PM.jpg

#4 is the Aux Cable, which leads to 11, which is a red RCA. However, number 5 is the original speaker, so I'm wondering if you have the Aux Cable plugged in as the red RCA, is output going out of Aux instead of the original speaker?

This YT video also sort of shows the install (a used unit), and at least as far as I can tell (around the 17-18min mark) only 1 yellow RCA cable is plugged in. The red appears to be unplugged https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zUBbhtJSs0

Thanks. The only RCA that’s plugged in is the yellow that’s for the back up cam.
I tried swapping the grey cable that plugs into the Toyota High Power connection with the black connector that wasn’t being used and got no power to the unit at all.
The one white connector that my thumb is touching in the picture doesn’t seem to affect anything with the radio if it’s plugged up or not. I tried the black connector in that plug but it doesn’t fit.. one connector is for the corner dash speakers and one is for the center channel.. that’s about all I got. 029FFAC8-D3D1-43DF-9385-079B574BAF3B.jpg

Thanks. I saw that last night and thought about trying to tackle it but I’d already put everything back in the dash.
I don’t really understand all that about pins, but I can connect the two blue wires and see what happens!

Looking at headunits again. What's the latest on these? I've seen so many versions posted. Can someone post the most up to date info for me? I searched the thread but, tbh, I'm Dumb and got lost lol

No bueno. The blue wire that’s labeled amp is on a harness that would plug where the canbus plugs into the back of the radio.
There were two blue wires on the canbus but neither of them were labeled.

Just bit the bullet and purchased directly through site. Went with the bundle that includes the canbus and dash kit. Question I have is…. Local audio shop quoted me $150 and hour to install this unit. Going to shop around because that rate seems kinda high but roughly how many hours would it take a pro to install?

So I bought the Dasaita tire pressure (external sensors) and installed them last night. Seems to be working pretty well with the default TPMS app.

I did break a valve stem on one tire, so working on getting that fixed today.

    Anyone else tried these out?

The 10.2 now seems different then this one. I can't tell the difference between all the models except the look of the buttons.

Has anybody installed the Vivid 10/11 in a 2011 Tundra with Factory Nav, Satellite Radio, JBL and backup camera? I purchased a bunch of parts in post 1 or 2 and can't seem to get anything mated up to use the factory GPS antenna nor get the backup camera working. I've been through this thread a number of times, and I think I'm just not comprehending what I need to get -- I do have the HU installed but need to pull it out to do some work on it anyways and everything appears to be working other than the backup camera and for now I'm using the GPS antenna Dasaita provided.

Yeah, they have more models now. With that said, they don't make the 'square' edge one anymore. It's more rounded on the corners. :(

Wasn’t as hard to install as I thought it would be, although I’m only getting sound to center dash and the smaller door speakers. Have a 21 non-JBL crew max. Any advice? Found this linked in this thread and wondered if anyone has used it or what they have done to fix lack of sound. Thank for all of the previous posts, really helped out with my first radio install.

So I ordered the Harmon Spark ODB2 from AT&T.

    https://car.harman.com/solutions/smart-auto/harman-spark

My goal is to connect my radio to it and be able to watch YouTube or browse the internet. Or connect my computer to it in the go.

Not sure if my wireless Carplay will work at te same time. But thought it would give it a try since I kept getting errors trying to hotspot my iPhone.

It won’t. It’s 1 or the other unfortunately. Wifi or Wireless CarPlay

That’s what I figured. But in the times I want to hotspot it, I’ll just use the usb to my phone for CarPlay.

I never use CarPlay. With WiFi on every time I crank my truck ....... there is no point. I use Waze for navigation. YouTube. And I put a 1TB hard drive in the glove box So I use PowerAmp as my media player

also When I added the 4 USB ports I used a 1-to-4 usb splitter To give my truck /radio more input ports

I use Apple Music a lot though!

I just installed Waze on my Dasaita so I’ll see about using it instead of CarPlay.

I am running into an issue though. My Google Chrome and gmail apps keep crashing as soon as they open. Or within a few seconds. I tried updating the app, but that’s not working. YouTube does work. Also tried using Xfinity Stream but to sign in it wants to open chrome which crashes. Also tried edge and same results.

    maybe try updating the radio?

Update, I probably do need to update the radio, but I found online where others have uninstalled Android WebViewer and Chrome. Reinstalled Chrome and turned off auto updates. Working now!

gmail, chrome, Xfinity Stream, HBO Max.
