I've had a roll up from bak and I didn't like the quality. Looks like they redesigned it so it might be a different animal now. For what I need, I think the soft cover works better....lighter, easier to remove if I ever have the need and protects from the elements just as good.

I took my bed rails off tonight, prepping for tonneau install tomorrow hooefully!

Since I was in the bed I installed my Tie downs from Charvonia Designs. They are looking good if I do say so

 

Got my RC leveling kit installed today with the help of my brother in law.
One thing we discovered that I didn’t see anyone else do is you can do the full install without loosening the lower control arm. Of course, if you don’t have an extra hand like I did that would be impossible.

Also the sway bar really kicked our asses. Not sure why but every step of the way getting it re bolted it just didn’t want to cooperate, but in the end we succeeded. Getting it re aligned Saturday and 35’s put on next week!!

 

Just ordered these 18" +27 OZ Rally Raids. Picking up truck tomorrow, chrome delete Wednesday, Westcott lift, 35” KO2’s & these bad Larry’s on the 15th. Now how do I track down a temporary topper that fits until I can get one ordered?

Finally got some TRD running boards put on. Loving them.

 

Got around to installing pro comp coils and rear spacer and shocks.

Also mounted up some very low profile stealth ditch lights. Might still swap them for 4” depending on how they are on the trail, but loving the look now.

 

Got the very first KB Voodoo Pro-Max rack for Tundras on and took it up to 10,200’ this weekend. Love it. Still waiting on the side gear lockers but the cargo rack is amazing. Hit me up if you want a discount code.

22” rack height to clear the camera, plus 2” of height from the Diamondback tonneau cover allows my iKamper to clear the shark fin nicely. My design has the rack/tent/cargo tray lift off the truck as a unit via a hoist so it goes on and off the truck like a backpack. Takes 5 minutes. I’ll do a write up on my build thread later but it works great.

 

I got some fancy stickers.

 

two things yesterday. 1) crashed a jeep/ram/dodge dealership meet where only chevy/gmc's showed up...and me. lol. 2) installed the oem black exhaust tip.

 

What method did you use to clean off the left over residue? I did mine and have a lot of residue to remove on the drivers side. Thanks

I'm curious, are these sticky? I ordered some sticky gel ones off Amazon and they look great but after three weeks they have a lot of dust stuck to them

 

How is that leveling kit working out for you so far? I have the same wheels as you (actually I think you pointed me to them). They look fantastic (especially for $400). I'm itching to level the front, but a little apprehensive since the shock bolts have to be ground down/cut...

No mine are not sticky from Toughskinz. They feel like dense foam and do not grab dirt and dust.

 

Had the chrome delete done yesterday at SCS in Bozeman. Great to work with and can’t believe the difference. Lift and tires next week!

For those of you who have the front license plate thing, do they drill holes to mount that? I would be pissed if they attached that and it wasn't needed.

 

Our state recently did away with the front tag (Ohio), so I specifically asked the sales guy to find out if they stopped adding the mount, because I don't want that it. He assured me that they only do them now if the customer requests it at time of delivery... Can't stand the way it ruins the front end...
