Another New Member From Texas

Decided to switch from being a “Chevy” guy and buy a ‘22 Tundra. Had a low milage Silverado and the local dealer gave me 50K cash, or on trade-in. I said I wanted a 1794, or at least a Limited in 4X4. It seems there a long wait for the 4X4’s and it seems this dealer doesn’t get that many allocations. They got an allocation for a SR5 w/ 4x4 in the TRD package. They offered me that one, but I’m going to hold out for another month or so and see what comes in. There is a new delership in the Houston area that is getting in all kinds of Tundras that I’m also looking at. I may just take my 50K and go to Houston to buy. Thank you guys for all the great info I’ve already read.

 

If you are definitely purchasing a 22, order cat plates from @Classy63 at Valhalla asap.

I’m not great at math, but I like the idea of getting the tax advantage of a trade-in vs. taking the 50k and buying one. (If at all possible).
