Actually my wife's car, but I keep tabs on the forums when I'm working on the Truck.

Picked up a 2014 Crew Max 5.7 liter certified used Tundra this past weekend, getting rid of the 2012 Suburban. My wife keeps several horses and the Suburban wasn't the best solution for her every day driver. She occasionally tows the horse trailer, and often hauls grain and hay. We had a Ford F250 nightmare before the Suburban, but won't go into the MANY issues with that vehicle.

Truck is pretty stock at this point. I have a P3 brake controller to install (correct wiring harness arrived today), and ordered the dash panel from ETS for a clean install. I've already located the factory-installed plug for the brake controller.

Running boards should arrive tomorrow for a weekend install.

The only issue I haven't found any information on is lower grill removal. The previous owner apparently cut out holes in the smaller lower grill for auxiliary lighting. I've looked under the hood, and they were cleanly removed, but I have a replacement lower grill on order, and haven't found any instructions on how to remove the old one to replace it. Any info anyone can provide would be appreciated.

Welcome from ATL! Would love to get more details on your brake controller install. I'm looking to do that on my 2014 as well.

Thanks. I found a video for the grill itself, but couldn't really make out the lower portion. The video I found was grainy and the person recording it had a thick accent.
