    Haven't read this, but I'm about to paint my roof since its all kinds of sun faded.

    Figured a black roof is better than sun wear.

    Yeah, that was a big problem with the metallic red and metallic green trucks. All the metallic paints had clearcoat, and that clearcoat eventually fails with those colors. GM has the same problem with their dark green metallics, oddly enough.
