Got a message from Tyler yesterday and he said he had my plates and they would be shipping this week

After waiting close to 15 weeks I was glad to hear he finally had them.

I obviously can't speak for Tyler but my guess is if you didn't get in on the recent batch of 3/16 aluminum you were right at the cutoff, I had the same order of front and rear 3/16 aluminum powder coated black ordered on Mar 23 and received my order yesterday, thank you @Classy63

He's probably still playing catch up. My bare 1/8 steel F/R order from 3/25 hasn't been filled yet. I thought that would be the quickest...I would have done aluminum if I knew.

My 1/8" bare steel is supposed to ship this week. My order date was February 10th. I thought bare steel would've been faster too.

I'm sure at one point it was, people probably asked what would be faster and that was it, then a bunch of people ordered that same material and it went from the fastest to the one with the most orders. Just my assumption is all

As good a guess as any. I actually would have preferred the aluminum for weight savings but oh well...I made my bed and will lay in it staring at the ceiling waiting for morning to come.

The truck won't even notice the weight. It's not an unsprung weight like heavy tires. I have all steel on mine and a full set of CBI skids on the wife's 4R.

Any of you guys have a gas tank skid (38 gallon) with a rear cat shield? I was looking at the Victory4x4 skid but it looks like it would be really close to the rear plate.

I don’t think there would be an issue with a gas tank skid plate. I am sure you won’t be the first.

We took 680 converters into evidence last week from one warehouse, one group that got themselves arrested. Was a Phila case but they were being stored closer to NY city

Thank you for saying but I am former LEO, 13 year "federale" as a uniformed officer with the FBI police and now a "chairborne ranger" but still with the Bureau. I needed to move back to NJ to be closer to my folks and since we don't have the police unit here the next best thing was a support position running our operations center.

Working Times Square on New Years a couple years ago. It was around 10 degrees, with the wind it was in the negative teens most of the night...

Well this is disappointing to wait so long and finally received my 3/3 aluminum plates to have problems. Center to center on the shield is 10 3/16 and center to center on the nut plate is 10 5/8 . Which part is wrong? Also there was some weld spatter inside one nut on the nut plate and I tried to run the bolt to clean it up. Well that was stupid because it twisted the bolt trying to back it out.

I sent you an email already, there have been some issues with the nut plates. I have someone else making them and the quality will be better. As with everyone else who had an issue, I am replacing these free of charge

Side note, I saw a 2022 tundra work truck while driving, I pulled over and asked if I could measure, they agreed and I will have the revision done to make these better.

Ok thanks. Good to know it's only the nut plate with problems. Yes a proper nut plate and new Pentagon bolt would be awesome!
I'm going to ease all the sharp edges on the shields a little.

Because of all the issues with the nut plates, I am not sending anymore of the old ones out. I am holding off on sending more out until I have the new ones, they are promised to be ready next week.

FYI - You do not need them on the TRD skid plate. They already have it molded in.

It isn't the TRD pro skid I think it just one that came with the truck. I have the C4 bumper just wanted to make sure his skid plate would work if I switched them.

I'm sitting at just over 15 weeks for bare steel. Some have gotten theirs earlier than that. I'm not sure if it depends on what you order or not. This is also including that I was told mine would ship last week. But they didn't.

I am at 12 weeks for black steel. Must have patience in today's world. Been waiting for over 5 months for materials at work, still no ETA, it's just crazy right now !!!
