Mine are located on the flat panel just below the lid of the center console. One on each side. Convenient and out of the way.

did you have any issues getting your hood bulge to stay secure. And what brackets did you use to mount?

Went all mad scientist in Freecad last weekend. Experimental tool-less removable modular grille panels. We don't get active grille shutters so how about manual ones. With the price of fuel, I figured why not see if it makes a difference.

yes I park in a tuktuk garage shut up

looks good. Gonna need some links and an install write up. Assuming this is a more reasonable cost option to the $600 dollar ones.

Previous owner had AMP Powersteps that he kept, but left the lights. I realized the wiring was just cut in the engine bay, so I wired them to the dome lights.

I'd personally go for the the yellow rings. The silver trim is easy to scratch so keeping people (and myself) from poking at it as much as possible is the way I would approach it. Unless, of course, you are looking for a reason to wrap or paint it.

Yeah, the cost and extra wiring of the extra lights is the biggest thing that makes me think I'd order their plate version.... but that one looks so much better!

I’m wiring it all to a touch screen SPod. I’m super excited about everything. Next big purchase will be the suspension. But have to build out the bed first so I can get an idea of the weight for the custom leaf springs.

Definitely an easy install. I used the brackets that came with the light bar and flipped it around. Did you cut the tabs and drill a new hole opposite of the hole already on the bulge?

The Nilight is more than sufficient for what A LOT of us use it for.

Processed warranty claim for my Morimoto XB's. Purchased in Sept 2020. I will be upgraded to the Gen 2's which will illuminate the 3rd projector since the Gen 1 isn't available.

I’ve been curious about that AJT mount, I hear conflicting things. Glad to hear it works fine, I’ve been eye balling the og pro grill but my color isn’t that easy to find. Cavalry blue..

I bought the OEM LED lights and actually got them wrapped so I wouldn’t get that haze since the truck isn’t garaged

I use the bracket that came with the light and trimmed the tabs back replaced the plastic grommets and used a dab a gorilla gel glue on the plastic grommets to help hold everything in place.

Just keep an eye on it. The mounting locations on the bulge break easily. I'll have to take pics of mine that I reinforced.
