2022 Time in “F” Status

Anyone have any experience/guidance on how long their new Tundra sat in “F” status? Awaiting a 1794 that switched to F status on 05/18. Anticipation is a killer….

 

congrats. generally 3-5 weeks barring no delays in freight or at port. im in the ca bay area and mine arrived 3 weeks after it went to F status. dealer told me 3-5 weeks if no delays. there has been a shortage of freight drivers and port workers as things recover from covid.

 

Same here roughly 3 weeks to Northern California.

 

Right on. This one is for Tri Cities Washington so should be around 3 weeks. Fingers crossed.

 

I was told I went to F status on 5/2/22. took delivery 5/20/22. SR5

Mine went into F status on 5/5/22 and the dealer told me I will be picking it up next weekend. I’m in northern Utah.

I had 5/2/22 it hit F....still waiting. Bellingham, Washington is where it's going

 

Mine was in F for about 3 weeks! Build date was 5/3 was delivered 5/20

 

In Utah too, mine went to “f” status 5/16, talk to the dealer Saturday and he told me it should have it by the second week of June. The dealer screen shows it departed the rail on the 18th.

Anyone ever have theirs switch to “F” and then kick back over to “A” status a week later?

 

How long do I have to stay in “A”?!! I’ve been checking everyday for 2 weeks and no eta. Once I got allocated, dealer said 3 weeks but I don’t think that’s happening.

 

Sounds like your just waiting for your car to be built. Once that happens it should move to freight status (F) then to (G) when it’s on a tuck to the dealer. What did your dealer tell you your build date is? Mine has been sitting on (A) for 2.5 weeks but my build date is not till 6/9 so I’ll be in the status for a couple more weeks. Same boat as you.

 

It's not R, it's F as in freight. Then yes, G when it's en route to the dealer on a truck.

 

My dealer told me they got allocation of my truck on April 1 but build date wasn’t until May 4. You’ve probably got a couple more week to go.

I just love that we have a way to semi track things. The dealer gives zero updates. You’d think there system would auto update us on each step. That would greatly reduce the amount of calls in to their reps. I bet they are constantly having to give out update which is really annoying to them when they are trying to sell.

 

my dealer just told me it'll be here sometime, maybe before the end of the month, they weren't sure because shipping had slowed down. it was built may 4th, went to F status on may 5th. just sitting and waiting.

 

I didn’t get a build date but they said it’ll be 3-5 weeks and it’s been 2 already but when I check it’s still in “A” with no eta. Also the vin# still has the letter in the last six digits.

 

How long before most of you saw the VIN number? My store has given me the build sheet the price and everything. Yet, i was told maybe next month they would have a VIN. They told me a week and half ago this truck would be in next month so i have no idea.. LOL Just wish i could track it like the rest of you are able too.

 

I had a temp VIN available (letter in the last 6) given to me right away on allocation. Dealer never passed along the final VIN, but it is visible on the website now for me. That happened a few days after it was built.

 

Alright, Well all they have given me is a build sheet. Maybe one day I can be like the rest of you all...

 

My platinum was built 5/5 and was f status the day after until yesterday which went to g satus and dealer said it landed today in nor cal....so a little under 3 weeks from build to delivery.....hopefully it gives some people hope on eta.....picking it up tomorrow

 

Yes, I called my dealer today and they confirmed that it’s 2-3 weeks freight after build.

Lol my build date was 3/28. Went to F the rail depart was 4/2. I still don't have my platinum. I'm fuckin burnt about it too. I bought a trailer and can't even move it. It's gonna be a party when that truck gets here. I'm gonna peel out of the dealership blasting 2pac and crash that beautiful truck into the first Ford I see just to assert dominance hahahah

 

Mine went F to G in 15 days; picking it up Friday. Yah!
