    good morning all
I am a new member to the forum though I have owned my tundra for years. My truck is an 04 with only 105,000 miles on it but I have had to replace the rack and pinion twice and it just started leaking again. Has anyone else had this problem? I have spent the extra money each time to buy the much more expensive factory replacement part so proper fit and quality should not have been an issue.
    Please advise.

yep bank account is running low from it..
Rackdoctor.net is who to use on rack and pinion. Lifetime warranty on it.. better than oem.

Sounds like you either have had a bad part from the start or you have trash in your power steering line causing the failure.

I have a 2010 with 30,000 miles and replaced mine at 17,000 miles. Don't know if your lifted or not, but it's a known problem with lifted Tundras.
    Frustrating.

Any idea if the 100,000 mile 7 year warranty on an 11 covers the repair? Just had my rack and pinion blow out...

I have a 3" leveling kit on it.
