Seen One Midnight Black and a couple White in the real world. But no silver or mgm.

 

Designed a bed decal for us as well

How is everyones experience driving the vehicle? Power? Seat comfort?

 

I don’t have a SR but I do have a SR5 with manual seat. I have never had a Toyota truck where I sit so low. I can barely see and I’m 5’10. Does anyone else have this problem in their SR with manual seats. @alibongo @SRpeasant @gulfcoast850

 

I have a SR5 with the manual seats, no problems here, but I am 6ft

 

Yeh it’s like I’m off by like 1-2” total of viewing exactly right. Ordered seat jackers from DDI so hopefully will be all good

 

How does the SR pull that camper?

I'm very interested in the SR bc I'm a cheap ass, but the last thing I want is to end up underpowered

 

sorry for such a late reply. It pulled great and I never doubted this truck to this day and almost 13k miles I still love this truck.

 

Awesome man. All great info. In my head, the tow/haul option is a must. Except that I towed with my 05 F150 for yrs, just turning OD off, and it's HP and torque are much lower than the SR.

Do you do anything special when towing w your SR since it doesn't have a tow/haul option?

I contacted a local dealership. They had an CM SR5 coming in that wasn't already sold. I was asking the guy of they had an SR, bc I wna drive em both. He said they hadn't received a single SR yet in the Midwest region they're associated with. I have no clue if that's true or if he was just pushing the SR5. Either way, I passed. I wna know all the variables before making my decision, which means I'll likely be waiting a while longer to get my truck that I'd hoped, but so be it

I just purchased some take off wheels with 450mi on them. They are from a SR5 TRD off road trim. $750 I figure the tires are worth a decent percentage of that. I plan on wearing through the tires quickly then using my old set of tires into the same rims. Hopefully use these up before the other set of tires dry rot.
I am really cheap and trying to justify my purchase by telling myself the wheels were free with the tires

The SR has the same frame/axles as a high output truck. i would question if the limited can truly pull more than an SR, not can the sr pull less. Nobody needs to speed towing, and the SR has a ton more usable power than my 2010 for example, the 10 speed helps a lot

 

SR looks very nice
