I was installing my AFE CAI, my 3/8 Craftsman fell into the area between the radiator and motor. It was gone, I assumed it fell onto my TRD skidplate.

As I have Valhalla cat protection, getting it off is easier said than done. I wanted to r&r my 4x fluids so figured I'd get to it. Removed everything, no ratchet. WTF? I even looked inside the fan shroud, but interdimensional travel is all I can come up with.

    Ideas?

LMAO... Maybe try looking towards the front bumper/ fog light.... I lost an extension with a 10mm between the passenger side lower control arm and the frame while attaching the heat cover... Never saw them again, its been 4 years..

I looked pretty much everywhere. It's crazy. Luckily I have duplicates of everything & it's just the ratchet. The extension with the socket were already off.

Have you tried dropping an identical sized ratchet in the same fashion as before and having someone eyeball it as it falls? ;):annoyed:

Really expected to read a thread where the wrench got caught up in the serpentine belt...

Im glad to hear nobody was force-fed a wrench by their truck.

I dropped a yellow trim tool into the great abyss last week. Yellow and still had trouble finding it.

I'm finally finding a use for a selfy stick. As long as the camera away from me is used. O have a borescope but 4-40 lockwashers look like something used on the Golden Gate bridge so it's not well suited for the underhood spelunking adventures.
