Thanks! Our 4 year old boy got a little sister, so now we’re complete and done with the baby-making. However I’d like to keep practicing (or going through the motions if you will) if my wife ever forgives me for what I’ve just put her through

She’s in there. Not the prettiest mount. But it’s stout. $7 total. One piece of 3ft flat aluminum. Now to get everything wired up. Switch Pros makes that easy thankfully

I like the compressor mount and the Lexus wheel. You folks do some good work.

Nice job! The single fits in there nicely. Do you already have the Switch Pros mounted?

For some inspiration, here's the route I took:

    (j/k)
Congrats! We landed the same fortune. Although some days, I'm like ... if we'd been more like @daveeasa and had all the same brand, we'd only need to deal with one set of quirks, not both. Ours have definitely come with their own unique challenges, gender stereotypes exist for a reason and were pretty much spot-on for ours from birth to puberty, which the oldest hit a lil' early starting about 18mos ago.

We had girl first. She was a breeze. Sleeping thru the night at 8wks, walking by 7mos, always ahead of the game. Never fussy. Ate like a champ, listened like a champ, always helped out with stuff, generally followed the rules, very huggy, never procrastinates on anything, good attention span. He came a few weeks early, was constantly fussy, a bear with bottles and eating, waited to walk because he realized people would carry him, always giving up a mile into hikes "I'm too tired!", sensory stuff, attention deficit issues just like me, total procrastinator, and a bit of a troll which is probably also more like me.

They've got good hearts but man are they two totally different creatures. My mom had two boys, my brother and I, always wanted a girl. She was overjoyed to have a grand daughter for the 2nd half of life, but even she's like, "Jeez girls are different!". Only thing I'll say is this: Enjoy the time between now and when puberty hits, once it does, and all bets off. Our little girl is suddenly this awkward, pimply, moody, temperamental, can't seem to figure out who she is human who only doles out hugs on her own terms. It's been an adjustment.

We're still here (most of us anyway) for whenever you get back to it!

Working the right tower gussets. This is to mark where to grind the paint off for welds.

With the gussets, the bolts have to be reversed and come from the front on a DC. This is a relief cut to allow that.

He needs a M12 grinder (or two). It's name is more tacti-cool so it counts.

First drive with new gears and 33’s. Whole lotta rubbing to deal with. Needs to go up.

2000 rpm at stock 65 mph but not sure what that is in real speed.

Seems like maybe the stock calibration is reporting higher speed than actual. That’s probably safer than the alternative.

So to fix the rub I think I need to remove the lowermost front bumper plastic. Let’s see how that goes.

Put the new Mishimoto radiator in. Monitored temps and even through full pulls never went above 186*, so I'm happy. Had to trim and move a couple intercooler pipes to fit the thing but all is good now.

I assume you got the bolt back out easily and there was minimal heat warp? I’ve had these sitting in the box for over a year!

Tapped the bolt out pretty easy. It’s no longer a easy slide in/out, but warp was minor. I’ve heard of some challenges getting everything to align after welding. Just make sure the bolt is in, the inner steel bushing and one washer per side and the nut snug when you weld. The other side I tacked it with the whole arm on there first and that seems to help a bit. It’s an extra step but worth it. Almost done here.

Yeah, need to get that taken care of. The rubbing was a problem to start with. Still need to get the leafs re-arched. And a long list of other work, hard to know what to focus on first.

Dart board is always an option, but honestly, pick the three smallest tasks you can finish first. If you're anything like me, it'll be equivalent to foreplay.

Identified tailgate lock problem, retaining ring took a vacation. Simple fix if I can locate a beefy retaining ring of the proper dimension. There is a groove so I just need beef ring. Anyone got a source for that kinda stuff? Any ideas on temp fixes? I'm half tempted to do a washer and drill + big head screw but don't really want to drill into my lock cylinder.
