The poll is relevant now! The tipping point was the fact that it's fluid filmed (or equivalent.) Really clean and low miles. Plus, when I get sick of it in 10 months it'll hold it's value fantastic! :p

The new tires are staying on it, and those were mounted on the stock wheels. I'm going to list the never mounted wheels and 1 season winter tires separately and will offer a package deal for both. The wheels will come with lug nuts and hub spacers. They probably will never sell because no one in northern Wisconsin modifies their vehicles lol.

Thank you! You're going to laugh, but I'm going to give a solid effort to try and not modify it all that much. As has been pointed out my alter ego Larry is a financial hot mess and his vicious cycle of not only a new vehicle every year but also buying thousands in mods for said vehicle isn't sustainable. Fun, but had to be toned down eventually. Also, financial standing aside, although the aftermarket is quite large, modifying Tacomas is actually kind of annoying. A little lift in the rear and you get a takeoff shutter, a little lift in front and your needle bearing goes bad. Obviously as a member of enthusiast forums I'm going to make some changes but probably more towards quality of life or little personalizations. I will get a road America plate again though.
Oh yeah, definitely bobbing the bed. I was thinking about that while signing the paperwork.

Well, thankfully it already comes with great tires. That usually is where the slippery slope starts for me because every vehicle I don't like the stock tires.

So, a little review on the Tacoma so far. Definitely a quirky truck, can't believe Toyota hasn't massaged out the quirks by now. No deal breakers but kinda lame nonetheless. It seems to shudder taking off, slowing down, or pretty much just existing. Perhaps trans issue? I'm super obsessive with my vehicles feel and sounds so maybe it's normal? Also, while driving somewhat spiritedly going from gas to brake coming into a corner the lights will dim for a second. Not all bad though. The gas mileage has continued to be satisfactory, and the difference between how the power felt on a brand new Tacoma vs this one is outstanding. Like my truck is as fast if not faster than my tundra while the brand new ones I drove were slugs.
