Ya same here, Mine got delivered today and someone at the house said the tires look small. Probably got the wrong SKU numbers messed up and sent the wrong tires. Have to check it out when I get home.

 

So just got back from Walmart. The first CS rep was wrong apparently. The tire guy had no idea what I was talking about so called CS again right at the counter. This time they said there was no option to submit a replacement order (probably because they are out of stock). They said I could get a refund and then place a new order. They told me they would honor the price I paid and made a note in my account and to call them and they would refund the difference. Not really believing them I asked for proof and they gave me a number that would supposedly reference the above price adjustment. Really hope everyone’s order turns out better then mine but at the end of the day I’m not out anything and may even be able to get the advertised price when they come back in stock.

 

Seems like a good conversation to have over email/chat where there's a record.

Yep heres my 285/75-18’s maxis. NOT! Got 8 wrong tires. So far customer service is overseas based and horrendous.

 

It was probably a typo in the first place, by someone whom English is a secondary language.

 

hmm. Typo in numbers doesn’t necessarily mean their English is bad man.

 

So the customer service offered me $20 and promised to send out the tires I ordered in 24hrs once I return the three I got to a physical store.

 

Mine are due to be delivered tomorrow. Fully expect they will be the Kumhos.

 

I’m thinking skus got mixed up. My hope is when they fix it and the price rises they will honor what has been said. Like it was mentioned the CS is overseas and has no idea about the products they sell. I’m in no hurry for tires, should be able to make it thru the summer so hopefully it’s fixed by then.

 

Mine should be here tomorrow as well. I’ll keep an eye out for Kumhos lol.

I've given up hope.....all but certain, 4 useless tires are going to be delivered on Friday, and i'm going to have to lug them back to wallyworld, i'm assuming it has to be one with a tire center?

 

This reminds me of the Bilstein deal a while back where everyone received something odd in place of the shocks they believed were coming.

 

Oh well. If they will honor the mix up And sell correct tires at advertised price I think it’s still worth the little extra work on our end. Getting my set of Kumhos tomorrow

 

Agree. If I could use those size tires I’d grab them up right now. It’s worth the fight for the savings.

I also ordered a set of the 35x11.5x17. Wonder what I'm gonna get with those!!!!!

 

At least these Kumho tires fit easily under my tonneau cover

$50 Walmart discount for the trouble to return them to the store

 

Well this was a huge bust. Waste of an evening returning tires and they are now out of stock online. Can’t re order them

 

That sucks. My delivery was pushed back til tomorrow. Still holding out a bit of hope the right tires show up. Mine are shipping from VA warehouse. Where did yours ship from?

I’m pretty sure the out of stock is for the Kuhmo’s we all received. Brought the Kuhmo’s back to Wally World tonight and got my money back but they had no way to re-order the right stuff. The attendant actually made a joke saying that it happens all the time with walmart.com sending out the wrong stuff.

No Kumhos for me, but Nokian lol.

 

I can't wait to get home and see what's waiting in my driveway. I'm grabbing beer on my way home too because I will surely have some explaining and honey-do's that'll keep me busy for the rest of the evening.
I still want to know what arrives for the guys that ordered the 35x11.5R17's. I almost got a set of those too LOL.
