Hey! Remember the fetal pez dispenser that I built to protect my Ice Cream Banana tree? I was pretty sure it was a failure for the main tree, but it started popping up pups all around it. I was going to trim it back to the ground to stop any rot today and when I looked outside, I see some new leaves pushing out.

Yeah, my neighbor was just bitching to me last week that he cut his tree down to the root and it died. He then tried telling me that I told him to do that. I said "Why the fuck would I tell you to do that when I built a freaking 8 ft cage for mine? Somebody else told you that." I remember telling him that I read you need to build a cage around it, put mulch on the bottom of the cage and then fill it with straw and he responded "So and so said to just cut it to about an inch off of the ground." To be fair, he's going through Chemo and Dialysis so his memory kinda sucks.

 

I'd let you park that on my hovercraft if you'd let me fly it every now and again.
