Mounting the panel of a Switch-Pro 9100 on a 1794 or Platinum

I came across a used but fully functional Switch-Pro 9100 for $300. I'm seriously considering it even though I hadn't planned to get one soon and don't need it yet. At half the cost of a new one, may be better and easier to get it now.

So I'm mulling over my install location options.

I really don't want to sacrifice my sunglass holder for an overhead panel.

I'm aware of SDHQ's kit for mounting by the shifter. I love the location, but don't want to lose the OEM leather on that panel. Yes, I'm picky.

What about the useless tray area on the center of the dash? Is there a mount that will let me put it there and run the wires down through the dash? CJC Off-road makes them for the Dodge RAM, but I'm not finding one for Tundras.

    Where else should I consider?

Where did you put it in your Platinum or 1794, 2.5 gen Tundra?

Also -- I've seen a-pillar replacement covers for Wranglers with a cut out for the 9100 to fit nearly in there. I can't seem to find one for a Tundra. Anyone seen one, or another

The SDHQ panel is also leather. They use oem trim. You can also just mount it direct on that location with your own trim. That's my plan for the switch pros.

There are several dash mounts available out there. Here is Rago Fabrication’s.

Really? It comes in the saddle brown 1794 leather? Interesting. I assumed not since none of the photos they offer show that.

I'm so sorry. I've looked at the site several times and never saw that photo there. :( Don't mean to waste anyone's time, but thanks for pointing that out. Really appreciate it as I completely missed that.

So, that solves it. That's actually my preferred location but I wasn't willing to lose the brown leather. I really detest the big "SDHQ" logo on their plates, but I'll settle if I have to.

    You mean this one?

Not a bad idea. I like the chrome, actually, and didn't intend to do any chrome delete on this truck. But I think I like this one better than a big old SDHQ logo plastered around the shifter.

@Shadowfax1 i believe you could probably swap your original non-logo version piece into the sdhq one. Just food for thought..

I know this isn’t a switch pro but you should be able to do something similar 34903483-E6CC-463F-9C71-5334BFA677C4.jpg198FFBC1-6D06-4DF3-A87E-6C1C7C6194C9.jpg
I ended up getting the lo pro mount from 67 designs (https://www.67d.com/products/toyota-a-pillar-adapter) and drilled a 1” hole in the a-pillar and mounted it there. Also used the nano carbon fiber arm with it that gives plenty of adjustability (https://www.67d.com/products/arm-builder-for-20mm-20mm-ball-sizes)
I had it down on the console but just didn’t like how it wasn’t in my line of sight. Much happier with it on the a-pillar now and happy with the install. Here’s the 67 design plate mount for the switch pro as well!

I know this isn't the answer you're looking with this being the 12 switch. Used the SDHQ overhead mount that came fresh from the 3d printer. Had lots of painting and sanding. It's not the best fitting item but no one other than myself can tell. Does anyone know if the SDHQ leather version fits the 3 position switch panel?

This is really helpful. Thank you -- much appreciated.

Even more curious though...where'd you get your Thor's Hammer shift knob?
