The sucking fupid mechanization of the window lockout. Had the dog down at the river this morning and decided to leave the windows cracked open after I got back to let the dog hammock in the back seat dry out. From the driver's seat I push my passenger window switch - nothing. ? I push each of the back seat window switches - nothing. WTF? I didn't even realize I had the window lock on. I turn it off, and bingo, each of the other windows now work from my switches. In all of our other vehicles all the driver's window switches work regardless of the position of the window lockout switch. Not so much in the Tundra. Just dumb that the window lockout affects the driver's switches.

yep, same here. I took it to the dealer to fix mine amongst other things and of course I couldn't get it to replicate it there for them.

I got a replacement windshield about 18 months ago and the wind noise is absolutely terrible now, and at certain speeds it will whistle (more sometimes than others). I feel like very bump, tar mark, or grate is inside the vehicle when I go over them. We have to talk over the noise or turn the radio up louder when we never had to before. Gonna have to fight the dealer on this but I doubt they'll replace it again.

... which means no power folding mirrors in a Double Cab. I gotta get out and fold the passenger mirror before I park in the garage.

But let's face it, this is a first-world problem. If this is your worst problem, then you're in pretty good shape. So yeah, it's annoying, but I still like my truck very much. She's a keeper.

So many minor annoyances with this truck (it is a truck after all). But currently the brake pedal is rattling. You can push the pedal assembly to the right side and it stops for a minute but then goes right back to rattling again. I guess I’m gonna have to get under the dash and see what’s going on before the pedal lever falls in the floor lol.

It’s certainly the rainX. I use their washer fluid in both my vehicles and I’m sure the skipping is caused by something in the rainX washer fluid. Cleaning the blades off with alcohol helps but it eventually comes back.

What annoys you about your truck?

The reddish-yellow glow emanating from the transmission area after driving the truck. Theres also a hissing/popping sound like when molten metal begins to solidify and contract. Dont know if they're related.

My 2009 F150 had crank windows. To reach the pax side I made a modified broom handle with a hammer on wheel bearing cup on one side and a hook on the other. First world problems? Third world solutions.

Worst part of hand crank windows is trying to drive in the rain and roll up the passenger side before the inside of the truck is soaked lol.

Brilliant! You're giving me an idea for the folding mirror. I already open the passenger window and lean over to push the mirror open. Now if I could modify a broom handle and put a hook on the end to close the mirror, I'd be in business. hmmm...

I think it's actually from the AC being turned on (typically on startup if it was left on from last trip). I've noticed I can get that same grating noise after startup when I turn on the AC. I'm really hoping that I can get that belt re-tensioned/replaced at my next oil change and resolve the issue.

I'm trying to picture this - what part of the door trim is a leg hair puller? I wear shorts all the time and can't remember ever having this happen... though my legs are definitely not the hairiest

I’m wondering the same thing. My legs are as hairy as an ape and I’ve never had my hairs pulled by the door trim… o_O
