Howdy.. so I'm having a heck of a time finding this one little piece of trim for my 05 sr5 crew cab (the 1cm wide strip that sits in the larger moulding / trim along the door.refer to picture as you can see it on back door and where its missing on front door). I've checked online, the local scrap yards, and I've talked to dealership; they said they could get them for me at 150$ candian per side, and I need two! It's an eye sore on my otherwise great looking truck and would love to not spend 300 bux! Just wondering if you guys have any leads. Thank you.

I'm pretty sure you can't buy that separately.... and the dealership is looking to give you the whole trim piece.

I would maybe look for the entire trim piece on ebay or junk yard and grab the whole thing and take what you need. Or you could rip the little piece off the others and have it all match :D

I appreciate how this seems to drive you crazy! It would me too. I'm digging around for a screw head cover that goes in the interior door handle insert thingy!
Sorry, nothing of benefit to add...

You may already know this but that head cover is part of the door handle insert thingy.

I haven't actually seen one attached but figured it's one piece and the tab(s) just broke off. Thought about sticking a bandaid over them...
