TPMS question

    Hey guys,

    I have read the section on the tire pressure monitoring system manual. I have a SR5 w/ TRD package, it does not display individual tire pressures but must have some sort of flat detection regardless.

    My question is, why would it take 2 weeks for my TPMS light to come on after I put aftermarket wheels on without pressure sensors in them? Seems like a fault of some sort. Should appear within minutes not...two weeks later haha

    If you have the stock wheels stored close to the truck it can pickup that signal and think it’s good. I changed my wheels used universal TPMS and I never did anything other then flip the wheels my light has not come on. I dont know if that is an answer

    Are you sure about this? Try these instructions below. It worked for me and I have a regular ol SR5


    Also the TPMS is built onto the other side of the valve stem (thing you connect the air hose to) in your wheel.

    There is one in each weel
