Yep witch queen may give you a little trouble. You can now modify your weapons like you could with your armor. There is a method to the madness but once you get the hang of it and understand the process you can really tweak some of your favorites. For example I struggle with single shot scout rifles now I can adjust what scout rifles I like and turn them into automatic firing, which suits my style of play.

I love RPGs too and I loved all of the earlier Fallouts. I just couldn't get into this one but I'm also thinking it was super buggy in the beginning and that also turned me off.

Yes - I believe one of my go-to Scout rifles had an automatic setting. I had a ton of legendary (the yellow ones?) weapons and armor in my vault. Hopefully they'll be worth something.

I've gotten a couple more hours in on Battlefield 2042 after they did their update. Figured I'd give it another shot. Nope. No. Nah. Nyet. Nein. Non. I say nay nay.

2042 is such a turd. Gun play is lousy. Movements suck. Maps are wide open and way too big. There's shit selection for weapons. Weapons are either overclocked or basically nerf guns. It looks cartoonish. The specialists are a total joke. The stupid quips the characters say at the end of the match are retarded. They literally took everything that made Battlefield great and instead made a piece of shit rip off of Fortnite merged with PUBG. I seriously hope they fire the people who made this game and start fresh with people who actually want to make a proper Battlefield game.

Kinda pissed that I'm out the $65 or whatever it was that I paid for it. I won't be playing it again. BF4, BFV and BF1 are superior in every way.

That's funny. I don't remember it much myself. But it doesn't matter anyway. No matter how Bungie tries to spin a story, it almost always amounts to "go shoot something". And then they try to add variety by making you go through the same areas backwards lol

I'm a huge fan of Fallout. I played through Fallout 4 a couple of times on PS4, and I think 6 times on PC. I'm in the middle of another, but I put it down temporarily. Love the mods, too.

By far my favorite mod is "Scrap Everything". It does exactly as the name implies. I love the building aspect of FO4, but I hated that there were things you couldn't scrap and had to build around them. This mod solves that problem.

I'm admittedly a sucker for open-world/RPG style games. I played through Cyberpunk 2077 4 times in a row early last year lol.

    And I still play Skyrim.

I'll have to give the Fallouts another try.

Picked up an XBox Series S yesterday; pretty spiffy. Looks absolutely tiny next to my PS5.

You're the only person I know who actually has played that. (Well, and didn't say they hated it.)

I played through Skyrim and then, years later, I bought the super edition or whatever and I was disappointed in the graphics. I remembered them being awesome. I have many issues.

I've yet to make it through Cyberpunk. I've tried a few times.

I played a little Destiny today. I'm pretty confused but shooting glowing moths with my trusty bow has been fun. I'm pretty happy, I forgot about my bow...

Every Samsung Smart TV we’ve ever owned has issues, like you said, all tied in to updates and software. Our current one we picked up on clearance for a steal, and thought maybe 3rd time is a charm. Nope. Have to go into settings and connect to wireless every time we power on. It is my last one, even if the next one is free.

I’ve got about 2k hours in Destiny 2. Of you like FPS/MMO style games and haven’t played it. It’s great.

Coming in new, it’s overwhelming for sure. But it’s got nearly a decade of content under its belt, and some of that is vaulted. They’ve made some great updates, rolling back sun setting gear was huge. Finally an Anti Cheat for PvP. Raids are fun, Dungeons are fun if you don’t want to be social or deal with the semi frequent toxic raid groups if you’re new.

All that being said, unless you can really get lost in lore, which destiny has really deep lore. Once you get done with quests, it’s pretty repetitive. There’s tons of stuff if your new or have been gone awhile. Exotic quests are fun, can be.. But the game is tired. I was really hoping for a seismic shift in WQ to the core gameplay with them revamping old classes. But it’s really just more of the same. It’s not completely customizable like they were leading on. It’s a step in the right direction, but it’s not Destiny 3 like they were really pushing

I've been playing from the beginning - I took a hiatus last year because I got tired of the repetition. Just bought the Witch Queen expansion or whatever last night and booted it up this morning. I never really understood the lore and I'm a pretty anti-social player. Not a jerk or anything but I never turn on my mic. I try to be the "strong, silent type" that seems to fall off the freaking ledges a lot.

I pretty much only play the Hunter class. I do have a Wizard and a Titan but that was mostly for trying to grind out gear. I really only like playing the Hunter class and I think this time around, that's what I'll stick too. What made me happy is that I haven't played in a long time and I still remembered how to do everything, unlike Assassin's Creed where I took a hiatus and now I don't remember how to do anything.

Today it said something about some kind of shard I can equip in the Hunter class but I didn't see shit. I'll probably figure it out later. For now, I'm just enjoying my Legendary bow that electrocutes everything, my auto rifle, and my sword. I also have fancy boots that let me jump higher (to help keep me from falling into crevices). :)

I did some shit with some comically large wrenches, saw the fat guys airlift a giant canon and squished an evil orb today. :D

Stompees are the best hunter exotic, period. The need to be nerfed. If you get a 63+ roll with mobility, keep it

I failed to indicate I played on PC, which didn't have anywhere near the issues as console (I believe console are all PC ports). I jumped in maybe 3 weeks after release, and it was pretty much stable. I did have to tweak a couple of the graphics settings at first as there was a weird glitche, but that was pretty much it.

I have to say the game just looks gorgeous in HDR. I played it on my super ultrawide display 49" gaming monitor, and it was very immersive. My rig is/was pretty souped up, too. I was hitting the high 80s/low 90s frames and over 100 refresh. That was on "High" settings, one step down from "Ultra", which I normally don't care for cause everything is too razor sharp looking. The game is solid on PC.

I did the same with Skyrim and also upgraded to the newer edition when it released. I thought the graphics were fine on PC. But I eventually did install graphics mods that made it even better. Only problem is, the last time I launched it, it looks like a recent update may have killed some of the mods. I haven't dug through it yet to figure out the problem.

I haven’t played in a few years just because of the demand of life and not being able to keep up. It is however one of the best and innovative games in the last decade.

I don't know what it looks like on PC but the Xbox One X version on my LG Oled is amazing. The game is booting up a lot faster too. I remember waiting 20 minutes for it to load on my Xbox One.

Whew. I dodged a bullet then. I momentarily paused on the C1 and was about to start looking at the Samsungs again (Q90 series) as I'd read they're brighter than the LG C1. Glad I ended up with the C1s!

On top of the repetition, the sunsetting is what got me to quit. All that time I spent maxing out my favorite armor, and then they reversed the sunsetting EXCEPT you couldn't bring back your armor. That did it for me.

I'm so cracking up at your post because that was me in Destiny 1. I played a Titan, and on Crota one of my jobs was to drop a Titan Bubble on a platform which I had to glide over to, but I'd miss and fall off the platform and blow all the timing. I don't know how many times we had to re-do our Crota runs because of it. "YOU HAD ONE JOB!" lol

I stuck with Hunter for pretty much all of Destiny 2. It became my favorite class hands down.

I never got a pair of Stompeez that were worth keeping. So my preference was to use the tethering pants (can't remember what they were called). But then they nerfed it. I used to be able to get multiple repeating chains of tethered enemies which would restore my super almost instantly, and repeat. Last I played it sucked to use it.

The secret is not to waste time trying to use the smart features. What can the TV do that my cable box, Blu-Ray player, Chromecast or PS3 can't?

I bet. I haven't tried it yet on the OLEDs that I just picked up, but the 2 games I've tried so far look awesome!

I didn't have a problem with load times on PC either as I'm running SSD, like your One X.

But it isn't really the smart features. The Samsungs love to rename your custom inputs and change your settings. I went through the time consuming process of a full color calibration, and the f-ing thing renamed the inputs and wiped out ALL of my settings. Multiple times.
