The "Tokico" shocks are the original OEM Toyota parts.

 

The 5100's may have a different (larger) diameter. If it's the same, it'd work.

 

Sunny invited him, plus it wasn't really 1st gen specific. And that roll out thing is a great albeit expensive alternative to a rake. Plus I'll get banned if I shoo anyone again.

 

I feel attacked.
(I have two titanium sporks...one of which is generally in the armrest of the Tundra for lunch emergencies.)

 

I keep a set of plastic cutlery in the plastic bag, the kind you get from a to go IHOP order, in my visor on my work truck for the same reason.

 

One of my lunch buddies likes to get Chinese...like a lot.
I won't go unless I have a metal fork/spork. IDK anyone that can cut the massive broccolis they give me with plastic flatware. Hell, you can barely stab those bad boiz with plastic cutlery.

 

For some reason I thought you already had sliders. Kinda feeling better about my lack thereof.

 

I would get a balisong fork for that.

 

My first Ti spork I got in Y2K.
The second I got in a Nalgene bottle as part of my groomsman gift package for a friend's wedding ~5-6 years ago.
I don't need either of them regularly enough to spend money. But I do appreciate the suggestion.

 

Camo would rule. I’m half tempted to try winter camo on my white truck but man that would be so completely ridiculous.

Ditto. Only I have 4, one for me, one for the better-3/4, two for our kids. And some iodized salt packets, because you just never know.

Picturing you, in the dark as described, holding a "tacticool" light, in your mouth ... really not a visual I think any of us needed to imagine. And if they didn't before, HAHA YOU JUST DID NOW!

I'm kinda wondering what yours and/or my truck would look like with that? I kinda think it could look good on our all-white trucks.

 

Add to that me kneeling on the bumper and reaching toward the firewall. It's not pretty.

Tacticool is very different.
It's a pejorative for people all kitted out in TACTICAL GEAR BRO that think they're OPERATORS but are really just regular people who like to spend all their money on gear.

 

Everyone wants to be an operator until the shooting starts. Then barista sounds way better.

The sheer quantity of people who need to buy an AR/AK and body armor as a means to prop up or justify their manhood these days is alarming. When they freely OC, it's that much worse. I have a mil-rejected cousin in LA who does that shit.

 

Lots of people here in IN carry both open and concealed.
Frankly, I'm ready for it to be the norm where an unarmed person is the odd one.

First rule of fight club

 

Is there now a minimum number of posts to enter the green room? When I was brand new I used to spend time in there. But then a popular thread that used to be out in the open (I think-?) got moved in there. It was pretty out of hand, so I stopped hanging out in there. Last I checked, there were a few promising threads that died after a dozen posts, and the night crew thread, which became kinda like a misogynists’ dive bar, so I realized I didn’t fit with the regular clientele, and stopped dropping in. Haven’t been back to see what it’s like now.

And I was part of a back room PM chat for a while, but sometimes it’s true, the things we shouldn’t post in the open, also probably shouldn’t be posted on private. There’s a whole lot of difference between what we can say around a campfire and stay friends, and what someone reads hours after you posted it… too late for any dialogue to smooth out or clarify… and can’t forget. Anyway, that’s my take. I haven’t been back in there for a year or two either.
