What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

As long as you have the tent under the height of the cab you won't notice any difference.

 

Hopefully those work out well, went the poor man’s route myself yesterday and placed a couple male sided strips of industrial strength Velcro underneath to keep the passenger mat in place

 

I tried the velcro route, but it just wouldn't stay stuck to the mat. Maybe not the best adhesive, maybe operator error. I saw the clips while browsing alternative solutions. The threaded base will be the weakness to these clips.

 

time will tell how well the adhesive works. I haven't had any issues with the industrial strength before but I hadn't tried using them on rubber before either. But I had a ton already on hand so I figured I'd give it a try before springing for the clips like you did.

I installed the vled footwell kit a while ago but never hooked up the rear seats portion. I just wasn’t a fan of the location knowing in time they would get kicked or stuff getting crammed there or whatever else.

instead I just used 6’ extension from the front passenger and routes the wire tucked under the passenger center console side and installed a vled max pod in the rear portion of the center console. It’s on the surface that faces down. Drill 1” hole and mount with the rear mount kit. No dangling wires under the seats.



decided to use the remaining portion of the tundra kit and install in the Tacoma that runs of the cargo light switch. Same function as the cargo light. Off / door / on.


one kit, two trucks. No night shots yet but that little light is bright.

Got the Ranchhand mostly mounted, just need to finish the bottom brackets, and put the fog lights back in. Eibach 2.0’s are due to be delivered tomorrow, wish they would hurry up with the resi rears to match.

A while ago I modded the shift surround. I added a three switch bezel, then fiberglassed over the grey trim and switch bezel. Once it was smooth, I painted it black.
Recently I received the blue Tundra vinyl decal from @Tundra234 , and decided to use it here. It’s a good quality vinyl, get yours today! I sanded the whole center piece down and modified the vinyl piece that I got. I just removed the surround and the three hash logo. Sprayed with Rustoleum Professional black, applied the vinyl, then hit it with satin clear coat.

I apologize in advance if this is the wrong thread for this.
My truck has these Spyder headlights. I would like to see if I can wire the white Halo to operate as DRL , it is now parking light only. Also would like to make the the side markers as turn/side markers.

 

Not yet. These were just some vinyl die cut ones he felt like messing around with. Not bed sticker etc

 

It's all good. I have the image that I need to get started.
