At least here it's only on long weekends that you can't have alcohol.

 

Yeah, and that's only in provincial parks which nobody who actually likes camping goes to. Off grid wild camping for the win. If there's power hook ups, it's not camping.

 

Did that kind of camping for years, then came a point in life that the wife said I’m done sleeping on the ground. Figured if we are going to do it, we may as well go big.

 

That's beautiful and it tugs on my guts I can't jump into the computer screen right now; but there's just no way I'm sitting there and not abusing whiskey and cigars.

 

Shit, roughing it for me is Basic Cable.

 

Most of the places I camp not only don't have power hook ups, they don't have cell service. Travel trailer? Forget it, won't fit or it'll fall apart on the way in. At my favorite spots, you're nearly a 2 hour drive from the nearest paved road and aren't likely to see another person even on a long weekend.

 

That does sound nice… add some high speed internet and I’m in.

Starlink is a thing now, so I'm sure we could arrange something.

 

That's our lake lot but you can get a travel trailer in and out if you're determined enough.
