    A bunch
Fleets go where the price is cheapest, not necessarily the best. They don't buy the fanciest, they try not to push towing/payload, they just want the lowest cost of ownership. When it comes to HD's right now they're so close it all comes down to personal preference - for example if I wanted a diesel Ram is out; I just want a V8, you can get that petty when it comes to deciding between the 3

Yep. And if he puts the steering wheel hard over while bouncing around off-road, the lower control arm will likely damage the steering knuckle.

So, has Toyota run out of silver paint or what? The local dealers (150 mi radius) I’ve been dealing with have gotten a butt load of MGM, black, white and a couple reds and blues but no silver. Looks like I’m going to have to wait for 2023.

I vaguely remember seeing an internal press kit last year with the breakdown of projected sales and silver was one of the lowest selling colors so it doesn’t surprise me. Shame though, I think it looks great on the new one.

It's the ebb and flow of the fickle public. It's based on the past couple of years of sales data. What ever sits on the lot the longest gets demoted the next couple of years when deciding the current years colors.

I kinda like that guy. One of his videos he happened to meet Victor Sheppard at the dealership and video'd his 702k odometer in his 2017 (I think) Tundra. That gave me confidence this '19 Sequoia will go 500k with regular maintenance.

Just got my 18" method 705's in Titanium and 33.4" Falken Wildpeaks installed yesterday. Drives great just added a 1.75" leveling kit and a skid plate all done at Adventure Motors in KCMO area. I wasn't sure I'd like the titanium but it looks black in the shade and dark gray in the sun.

Looks fantastic. I have the same Methods on the way to me now, and will do 295/70R18 Maxxis Razr ATs on them too, with a Westcott 3/1. I think the titanium will look perfect with my darker (blueprint) paint, too.

Do you mind posting a pic of the skid plates? Is it just the skid or the combo with the Cat plate protector?

I am imagining it’s theirs (pic added) and not the TRD one hence asking for the pics on yours.

Grabbed a few pictures of a Limited TRD OR at my local dealership since we've never had these in Canada before.

Those tires piss me off so much. It's a TRD Off Road for crying out loud. Put proper tires on it. Pretty sure the Americans get Falken Wildpeaks on their TRD OR. But nnnnooooo. The Canuckistanis who have a wide variety of extreme weather, harsh conditions and terrible roads get friggen street tires.

I'll be swapping mine out within 24 hours of picking up my truck.

I can confirm these are the tires I got with mine and I made the dealer swap them.

I'm sure you're right about needing more meat for the rough weather, but you can't beat Michelins for ride quality, low noise and long lasting.

I'm going to try to wrangle a deal with them. One tire shop has already told me they'll give me trade in credit, so I have that option.

For pavement or well maintained gravel roads, I'm sure they're great. I have my doubts when it comes to the dirt and gravel roads we have here. Even our paved roads are total garbage and are rougher than a gravel road in alot of places. That Michelin tire won't clear our sticky mud worth a damn. Anyone that goes off pavement around here, which is 99% of truck owners, are running tires like the Falken Wildpeak, Cooper AT3 XLT, Goodyear Duratrac or Nitto Terra Grapplers. I have Cooper ST Maxx on my 1st Gen.

This is an example of what I consider a range road in good condition to be for most of the year.Even the best maintained gravel roads turn gooey after a rain.

Makes sense to me. Out of the tires you mentioned, which would you say gives you the best on/off road performance. Which is the quietest on pavement. I have need for a more aggressive tire, but it less then 10% of my use, so I want to balance on road comfort.

I'll be going with the Cooper AT3 XLT on my '22 when it shows up. Loads of good reviews from people on this forum and from a couple guys I know here in town who run them. The Falken Wildpeak are about equally as popular, but here in Canuckistan are $100+ more per tire. Both seem to be an ideal compromise for on road manners and off road handling.

I've been really happy with the Cooper ST Maxx but they're pretty aggressive, almost a mud terrain and really heavy. Main reason I'm switching it up on the new truck is weight and I can get away with a slightly less aggressive tire.

Duratracs are popular around here, but I think that's more because they can be bought during a 4 for 3 sale a few times a year. I've never liked them much, especially once they get some wear. BFG KO2 turn to racing slicks in thick mud, so are useless to me.

I don't have personal experience with Nitto or Toyo tires, but see plenty around here.

My brother has no complaints about his Toyo AT2s yet. I think he might run them year round as well.

Yeah this is what I had Adventure install on my truck. I had my cats stolen off of my Tacoma a few years back and was without a truck for a month.
