I'm 110% there with ya - drives me nuts that they force you to put down phone numbers AND emails just to order things - should be one or the other. I'm about to get a new number but don't want to give up my 832 roots. However, I did grow up every summer in my youth on the 509 side and VERY VERY VERY VERY much identify with the 509 side of the state...maybe I'll do that and keep my Texas number for the dark web to fester and mold on (not a pretty picture for my TX number :()

Still considering moving to the other side of the cascades and going full remote for work...

I hear you. I maintain burner emails for just that reason. I’ll probably continue to put my current number down going forward because it is super annoying.

The 706s look really good IMO. I'm not a fan of wheels with a lot of spokes for trucks unless its a low rider. Beware though- the "Method Bronze" is much lighter than I expected- closer to gold. I bought my 701s online and was surprised how light they were when they showed up. Still debating having between having them powdercoated or buying George's SR8s and selling the 701s....

Same here. But these current prices are freaking insane! Was looking at the Y a few months ago. Now used 21’s are like almost 10 g’s more then a new one was.

Hopefully this is the last $100 dump into it. Going to try and not drive much the next few weeks. At least I start saving 20% of fuel starting next week too.Going to 4 10’s at work.

Wish I could handle a 4x10 schedule. Did it years ago when I was full of energy and it still killed me. The first day off was always lost to sleeping in and doing all the chores I couldn’t do during the work week. Net gain was zero

    Yeah, some BS.
We noticed the spike on the way home from Bend on Sunday. Bought rez gas though so that helped. $4.09 was the cheapest we paid

    So 4-12's is a no? :D
On the rare occasion I work 8 hour days, it literally feels like I'm only working a half day.

Holy chit no. How small is the fuel tank in the Sequoia? That’s my patience tank for my coworkers and it barely lasts 8 hours.

I’ve done bursts of 12-16 hour days a week at a time, but that was for dedicated projects. That kind of stuff is fun. No way I could do that on the regular for my normal work

I'm pretty lucky with my coworkers, but if I need a break from people I just go work on a solo project in the dam somewhere.

Funny tangent… last summer we were camping at Taidnapam Park and took a drive to the dam upstream from the park. It was quiet and far away from everything. Right then I added “security guard at a dam “ to my list of retirement jobs

Yeah, I bet. We have rented mall cops at work. Pretty sure they are the people that didn’t get a call-back from Mc D’s.

Not how the relay holder was designed to be installed but I refuse to add holes for a temp solution. These will go away anyway once the switch pro goes in.
