I took the front passenger & back seats out 1 at a time & did them on my tailgate. Much easier to manage them doing it that way. The headrests can go F themselves tho, no easy way to do them.

Very nice! The alu-cabin looks great on the crew cab. On my DC there's a lot of dead space between the back window and the alu cabin. I'm thinking I can find a way to mount some recovery gear or maybe a table in that space.

I'm still trying to decide where I want to put my battery system. Right now it's in a big 27 gallon storage container. I'd like to mount it below the water tank (water risks in mind) at the front of the bed.

I see you have a spray-in bedliner and you're also creating a plywood floor system. I guess the floor is for mounting your various components? Thoughts so far?

I'm trying to keep my floor simple with just the rubber tundra bedmat on top of my spray-in bedliner. It's making it a little bit more challenging to mount things without being able to bolt directly to the floor. But so far I haven't given up. I'm thinking I'll use extruded aluminum (8020) and hang everything off the bedrails or t-slots in the alu cabin.

thanks man. Yeah, the plate is for mounting some 80/20 to and for fridge tie downs. I’m no expert but I’d think that 80/20 only tied into the side rails would shift a lot. I’m
Debating putting in a bed rug under the wood for more insulation and a finished look but they're pretty pricey.

Which tent and rack do you have? That's exactly what I'm looking for. The tent deploys without hitting the cab?

It’s a smittybilt gen2 xl tent. It opens up without hitting cab. The vent flap or whatever it is, the one rod will hit cab but we either don’t open it or just put the one rod in that won’t hit. The rack is a twinpeaks rack out of Calgary AB. They have a couple different racks and can get different accessories for them too.

So Ordered the breather mod kit and a separate breather filter, not realizing the kit comes with diff breather on hose already and does the same function. Is one better than the other ?

Also did everyone save old diff breather once removed ? ...or just chuck it, even if its still functioning ?

EDIT: (diff breather not union --already changed above paragraph)

Just got back from a camping trip at the beach. First time taking a trip with the rooftop tent, covered over 150 miles, no issues at all. I have it set up with minimal wind drag and low, don’t notice a fuel mileage difference or handling on the road. Very comfortable, been skeptical for a long time but happy with the decision!
