I've had a new one on the way for a while now and my dealership is amazing! The sales lady emails me weekly with updates on the eta but she called a few days ago and said there's a QC hold on tundras in a certain VIn range that is delaying the delivery. Something about the downhill decent not resetting. Anyone had experience with this?

There are lots of QC and other items Toyota is workout out on the 2022. I don't see it as a bad thing that they are holding it to resolve an issue before you get it. Hopefully it will not be too long. Lots of info on the issues and QC items here on this forum, browse the 2022 threads for more info.

Be glad yours is held up.

Got mine first week in april:
So far this is whats needing attention
I have trim falling off on all panels including cracked piece that fell off thus was due to the door opening and crushing trim that was separated from door.
SRS warning lights when I try to use the wireless induction charger
Window seals that are missing on both rear passenger windows
Plastic between bumper and rear body panels on both L and R side is separated and appears to be able to pull right off the truck.

I have NO eta on new parts arrival or eta on resolution with SRS error!

Just hit 1k miles and been at dealer here in socal for a week pretty bummed.

My Platinum arrived in Toronto on Monday April the 18th .still sitting at the rail yard. Not sure if it is PVM issue or parts or both. My dealer can’t confirm either way.
Just out of common courtesy one would think Toyota would at least inform the customer and give an ETA. Very disheartening on how Toyota treats their customers. This is really uncalled for.

Yup, mine is ‘in transit’ but delayed from Apr 20 to May 18 delivery! I wonder how many are sitting at McMillan rail yard in Vaughan? Or if sitting elsewhere?

Is yours a Platinum and are they saying it will be delivered to the dealer on the 18th?

I had 3 delays from Jan to end of March. Each time 30 days. I didn't follow the vin till the end but if I were you guys I would check the trim and plastic on the truck. It really is disheartening to be driving an 80k truck with trim that is cracked and falling off. No eta on new trim delivery to dealer... been a month. The bummer is no loaners, no real communication from toyota brand engagement, and overall a very subpar customer service experience since day 1.

There are a lot of things that I can go along with.
    Parts shortage due to Covid.
Assembly line shut down , Covid related and the list goes on. But in your particular case
this is just shoddy inexcusable workmanship.
Can’t believe that no one noticed any of these defects before leaving the plant.
Read a while ago that one customer actually refused to take delivery of his new truck.
I might be inclined to do the same if it doesn’t meet acceptable standard.

Did it take the full 30 days for you to eventually get your truck? Mine went on qc hood August 30.
