I had mine pushed from August ETA to November ETA. Don't know the reason though the dealer did mention that all "higher level trims" for Tundras and (presumably 2023) Sequoias were delayed.

They’re definitely starting to hit lots. Dealership in PA called to offer me a limited hybrid today that was already in transit.

Hybrid Limited on the way-should be here end of the month-called and they had just had allocations and were taking deposits.

They had a capstone/1794 limited on the way as well.

Lucked out as the other dealer I have deposit with had me #18 in line.

Can confirm. I have a 1794 hybrid that's been at the port for a while. Build date was 4/29. They're telling me it should be 6/1 before I can come get it.

Has anyone seen any of the hybrids being delivered at all? I have a Pro ordered and according to my dealer I am high on the list (so I'm told), as I put my deposit down in November. However I have not seen a production date.

I wanted a faster vehicle so I also bought a Chevy SS... because 4 door sedans with big V8’s are hilarious.
I was at my local dealer, Denny Menholt Toyota in Rapid City, SD over the weekend. Sales guy there mentioned they have one hybrid allocated in a Capstone, maybe lucky to see it in late June or maybe July. He was not too pleased with the price tag.

Said they take a $500 deposit, and sell for MSRP. No dealer markup. So that also means all the trucks are sold before they get off the car carrier. He got to drive one finally when an early adopter traded one in with 5000 miles on it.

I just had a salesman promise MSRP and then proceed to undervalue my trade by $4000. Not paying a markup for the hybrid when it’s already priced at a premium by Toyota. I checked seven dealers in the area and now I’m down to two that are saying they will sell at MSRP. We shall see.

My understanding is they're all on a QC hold. Mine's stuck at the port.

My 1794 hybrid is set to be built on Friday this week, dealer says everything looks good to go from what they can see thus far. Hopefully the QC hold is being addressed on the assembly line. Port date is the 27th, dealer on the 3rd, but they are expecting it earlier 9if no qc issues)

My Platinum Hybrid has been in an allocation status since the 22nd of April. I'm not sure if that means they put a QC hold on assembling hybrids as well.

JFC. I have had a deposit on a TRD Pro since the announcement. My dealer just called and said he had good news for me and that they have a TRD Pro 4Runner for me.

I basically just learned that they probably had my name on the wrong list for six months. Told me it would be at least a year to get a Lunar Rock TRD Pro Tundra. (which may have been the case anyway)

I'm probably out. I'll buy my second choice I guess. Though I don't know what that is yet.

if thats the case, i would have them take a screenshot of dealer daily of the status of the vehicle and send it or print it out for you.

i know the screen look has changed since we bought our 2018 (see below pic) but it should show that same results

the dealer arrival wasnt even close to when it actually arrived. ours arrived at the dealer on 3-dec-2017 and we picked it up at 6pm on 4-dec-2017.

once you see a actual rail departure from the plant, it usually takes about a business week (7-10 days) to arrive at the port. once at port any PIO options will be installed and will take up to week not including any QC or sale stop orders. once you see an actual shipment date to dealer it takes about 5 days max to arrive at the dealer.

all that screen shows is estimated dates no actual dates. the only actual date is the build date and it should only take 1-2 work days to put it on a rail car to start the transit clock to port, but from what i can they havent even done that yet.

edit: forgot today is only the 11, at least the build date you can bank on, everything after that is going to be up in the air so to speak.

That is correct. Luckily I had them take off every port installed option, didn't want that to slow it down at all.

Dealer hopes that on the 13th it gets put on transit (same day as build), our to port mid next week (Florida, so close to plant). Port to dealer timeline has been a few days max the entire pandemic for them, so keeping my fingers crossed.

not sure where SET regional port is located at, i am pretty sure jaxport is the regional port for shipments from japan for the NE corridor of toyota usa SET dealers, but the usa port from which toyota ships to for SET (ie: tundra's) i "think" is in commerce, ga.

Update from my dealer this am, truck was built yesterday:

Well I don't have bad news for ya! our district trainer was in Thursday and I asked him if there was an issue with the hybrid models. His response was no, however they were put on a quality hold before shipped. No issues going on, your truck is still on original schedule.

What was your build date? I had my dealer take off ALL port options and ordered the parts directly through them.

I have no idea. I've been checking multiple times a week on the build website that was on another thread. The vehicle has had a status of "A" for several days and there is no ETA. I believe the site may be down because there are several error messages. I'm just happy that it's moved from assembly to the next step in the process. Hopefully it will be ready in a couple of weeks, if not sooner.

Dealer confirmed my Pro has been built, but I’m not sure where it is in the process at this point. They still seem to be hoping it will be ready for delivery at the end of the month.

What color did you get yours in? I have one ordered in Solar Octane and intend to call my dealer tomorrow to see if I have any updates.

Purely speculation on my part, but I do think so. I imagine that’s why they didn’t let me change my color. I have to believe doing one color a day/time really simplifies manufacturing.
