Glad I'm not the only one that got snow, though you guys got more. Spring doesn't show up until the end of the month.

 

Spring might arrive in August. Just in time for the first frost on Labor Day.

 

I’m starting to get worried that we won’t get enough warm days to get much produce from the garden.

 

I haven't planted anything yet this year. Usually don't get anything in the ground until 3rd week of May at the earilest.

 

We skipped over Spring and are full-on Summer here. It's been hitting the 100's. Not happy.

One of the hardest things about quitting smoking is the routines it puts you in. Now when I actually go into a gas station I don’t even look at the cigs. That shit takes time but it’s so worth it.

 

Dr. Doobie said he'd send special smokes. Not sure that ever happened. Or maybe he tried, and that's why he's no longer around?

 

Maybe Johnny law caught up with him.

 

For quite a while after I quit, I could still have eaten a whole pack of cigs raw, with the cellophane wrapper still on. But I didn't have real cravings intruding on everyday thoughts. Now I can't stand the smell of a cig.

I neee to find a way to do that. The stupid cat eats most plants. We also don't have much for space inside that would work.

 

I’m planning on making removable hot boxes that will sit on top of my raised garden beds for next year. I too don’t have the inside space to grow anything. Probably still couldn’t plant in February but should let me start a little bit sooner.

 

My dad has his set up in his boiler room on a couple tables so he can close the door when he's not in there. But if your furnace room looks like mine, you probably won't have space for that.
