From the inside out right? Do you use any coil cleaner?

    Haha don’t test me!
So I have a “bottle brush” fin design, it’s one of the most efficient, and in my eyes, it’s ok to spray from the outside in. I don’t use any cleaner just because it’s only dust and for the most part it washes off pretty easily.
Commercial units like McDowells I would usually use a chemical for sure, but at work we had some snake oil salesman come and bring us doughnuts, I refused their charm, but they had stuff for plumbing pipes, magical! And also stuff for aluminum coils…….. we bought some, it works well, but I make sure I rinse the absolute shit out of the coil once we’re all done. This one building has tons of issues of a “compacted coil” the light bulb changers not cleaning them properly and years of that leads to no air flow, so now we pull them and take them to the shop and use “inside out” it is pretty cool to watch the chemical work!

Monday was good. Enough work to keep me busy, but no chaos. Trip to Costco for supplies wasn’t to stressful and our annual rebate cut the bill in half! Then had a huge pile of dumplings for dinner to celebrate my son’s completion of his AP Calculus test.

    Short week…just the more days

You have a fin in tube style condenser, where it helps to flush from the inside out. Think of a bottle brush for cleaning your nalgene, or basically a Christmas tree, around a tube, lots of air flow regardless. Also if it’s compacted with hair or other BS, the manufacturer suggests to use a torch to burn it all off and then hose it out!!!! Thankfully I’ve never had to do that!

Just laying in bed in Quincy/Boston a bit pissed off.
    1. The place we were “recommended” to go to for dinner didn’t have oysters or lobster on the menu AND didn’t have Downeast cider
    2. The hotel bar also didn’t have Downeast cider
    3. My internal clock is all fucked up - it’s only 9pm “my time” but I need to be up at 5am “Boston time”
    4. The minute I walked into my room I developed the hiccups and they won’t go away

Honestly, so long as you don't inadvertently pick up that awful accent I would call the trip a win. :notsure:

Just give whoever gave that recommendation a swift kick in the ass. You'll feel better.

Fuck that - I’d fall on a sword before picking up that accent*. And yes, the recommender will be strongly reprimanded tomorrow.

Just gotta kick these fucking hiccups

*no offense meant to those who hail from this NE region. I realize it’s not your fault you turn the “ah” sound into “argh” and the “argh” sound into “ah” - i.e. warsh yah clothes in the hahbah.

Today is an office day but I have a few packages arriving that need signature, so stayed home. Logged into work and checked the calendar only to see I have a meeting this afternoon that is in-person.

    You just wait
    STORY TIME!!!!

Allegedly, when I still had my learners permit, on a rainy day I was practicing sliding on backroads. Well, where trees overlapped it created a dry spot which I hit mid slide breaking said slide. Being inexperienced I panicked, stomped and held the brakes in a no abs Mazda b4000. Bee-lined it for what I thought was a ditch. We just redid the whole front end so it flashed through my mind that I was going to ruin all those new parts. Well...it wasn't a ditch but rather a 15 foot drop. Holding the brakes the whole way to the drop slowed us down enough so that rather than shooting off we just kind of tumbled off. Aforementioned crunching sounds combined with McDonalds Powerade and quarters flying around we ended up resting against a tree. My dad was hanging above me in his seatbelt. He looked down and asked if I was alright. I said yes and asked if he was and he said yes. He used the steering wheel as a step and held the door open for me. I proceeded to make the call to my mom that I rolled the truck and she got so pissed when I said it was kinda fun  Ended up using two trucks hooked up in tandem to get it back up the hill.

I thrashed a Mazda B2000 back in the day as well. Never rolled it into a ditch, but I did a surprising amount of stupid shit in it.
