every single vin I have looked up says “dealerhold” as well. I don’t know what it means but nothing to worry about. What I am noticing is none of the vin I look up even has an “ETA” listed.

 

I had to read the instructions multiple times, but I got it to work finally. My sales person emailed me the actual VIN Sat. Mine still shows category F with no eta.

Yeah strange I wonder if they removed the eta status indicator.

 

yeah F from my understanding meaNs it’s in transit to the dealer. I think they took out the “ETA” altogether. I have yet to see it on any vin.

 

I wish they’d put it back lol I gotta buy a plan ticket and it be nice to know when the damn things getting there!

 

might be a blessing in disguise since the ETA can change. I’m in the Midwest and my dealer said they pretty much have seen consistently right at a month from build date to the Truck arriving on their lot.

 

btw which tundra are you getting and where from? Just curious

 

I am getting a 1794 4x4 in army green build date was 5/3. From a dealership called eddys Toyota in Wichita, KS. Got lucky and found it on autotrader called them and it wasn’t spoken for yet.

 

msrp or had dealer markup?

 

They had a 5k mark up but I negotiated it down to 2k. Kinda need a truck or I’d stick with my deposit at my local dealer that is doing msrp. Plus I haven’t seen very many army green 1794s floating around.

 

In case anyone is wondering, I'm still waiting for my Platinum. Build date was 3/21. I'm on QC hold and have no info. Original ETA was 09APR.

 

I was told they have no idea where my truck is because it was built after the tracking system went down build date was 4/27. dealer claims it should be here by 5/19 but thats the only info they will disclose. if anyone wants to try and see if they can track it for me ... VIN :5TFLA5DB2NX028593

@Mavnatty It isn't trackable. It shows F status but that's it. No ETA. If you'd has been built already, that's all you will know until they fix the system.

Neither of those are showing up. It's possible they've received permanent VINs now so those won't show up.

 

That would make sense, build date is this Friday.

 

Just got a call from my dealership today, salesperson told me the system was still down with no update on arrival. My build date was 3/21 as well,, with an eta of 4/27 thru 5/2. It was on the 2nd they called and said thensystem was down. Wander why its taking so long yo get it back up and running. I may have to start working on plan B for our trip if it doesn't make it bybjune 1st.

 

how did you find out that it was “F” the computer I’ve been using won’t let me track it with the instructions in the beginning of this thread always shows a code 404 not found for me but that’s good to know it’s in F status should mean it’s not on hold and on a train to Florida at the moment ..

 

I got my real VIN 4 days ago and it still shows "zone.pre-build" Does that mean it has truly not started to be built? Is the tool possibly not accurate because their tool is down?

Build date was 5/2 and I picked it up from the dealer today. Located in Southern CA. There's still hope for a quick turnaround! I wasn't expecting it until early June. I checked this morning and it was still showing as "F". Limited Lunar with Advanced OR Package.

 

Damn mine was built 5/3 and headed to a dealership in Kansas… no telling when it’s gonna get there.

 

This is what the dealership sent me regarding my order. They said it’s status F purple we should take about three weeks to receive it. Does anyway know if that’s a true status and does F mean it’s on the freight train?

 

Geez. Build date 4/19. Arrived at train destination last week and I’m still waiting for it to be brought to dealer. Very frustrating process.

 

Where do you check the status?

 

Does it mean that when I get an actual VIN the truck has been built?

 

It didn’t work for me. Typed my vin into the field and nothing auto populated.

 

I believe that is true.

 

My platinum was built on 5/10 and departed by train on 5/12. I dont have an eta but sounds promising for an May deliery.
