Hybrid Allocations

Even then I wouldn't be surprised if you can just add that yourself for 1/10 of the cost.

 

Especially if they have the same window seal issues that others are currently having.....

 

A dealer in central Arkansas just confirmed they had an allocation for a TRD Pro come in this week. It's spoken for, of course, but at least the dealers are starting to see some hybrids. Another dealer said they weren't allocated any this round but expect them in the next one. I'm looking for a HV Platinum myself so hopefully the wait isn't too much longer.

 

Good to hear they are starting to trickle in finally.

 

incredibly tempting, but my local dealer has been cool, and I can’t bring myself buy the capstone when the platinum looks better and is cheaper.

 

Do you know if anyone has received platinum hybrid allocations? I’m not hearing of any around me.

My local dealer told me they had a TRD Pro allocation. It was already spoken for though.

 

One of the many dealers I’ve been talking to called me out of the blue today to say they had a Pro allocation that wasn’t spoken for. Still can’t believe if I suddenly got lucky or something will go wrong, but I have my name on it now without a markup. I had been waiting for a limited hybrid TRD off-road with a short bed, but the Pro was the unicorn all along. Hoping it actually happens!

 

Good luck! I’m waiting on a platinum WCP hybrid but I’ll have to keep looking for now.

 

Well, dealership gave me a build date of 5/12 and a spec sheet for my upcoming Pro. Seems like it’s actually going to happen! Can’t wait for delivery.

 

Good to hear. Allocations for capstone and pro seem to be trickling in, hopefully other trim levels start getting built.

I have a date….I will get my tundra limited hybride lunar rock for may 11 at Vimont Toyota in Quebec Canada.

Midnight Black Metallic. Tried to see if they could change to Lunar Rock, but no go.

Past history shows that Toyota will send a couple primo models to dealers then thats it for awhile. Gulf states Toyota isnt accepting any special orders for MY2022s. Anyone with a special order is going to get 2023.

 

That's the thing I kind of fear about the hybrid model. Is it going to be like the Rav-4 prime, where they only make a few and most people end up just settling for the regular hybrid?

 

I expect my truck to be a 2023.

 

When do they change it to a 23 model?

 

Typically in the Fall but 22 launched late so who knows.

 

My dealer called me on the 22nd and confirmed an allocation for a Tundra Platinum 4x4 Hybrid. The vehicle is somewhere in Houston where they are adding accessories, etc. It's estimated to be at the dealership on or about the 7th of May. I, unfortunately, will be at a Sig Sauer event in Phoenix and won't be able to pick it up until the following Monday. I'm seriously considering canceling my travel so I can pick up my truck sooner......

Oh, and by the way, I'm a new member to this forum, first-time time Toyota customer, and a first-time truck owner. I'm looking forward to engaging with my fellow Tundra owners.

 

As a guy who drives predominantly two lane highways with a 65 MPH speed limit, more power in the 60-90 MPH range for quick effortless passing is EXACTLY where I want to see improvement over the base engine.

 

A few days is not going to change anything in the grand scheme of things, keep your trip and enjoy. Just let them know you don't want them demo'ing the truck to anyone.

 

First non PRO/Capstone hybrid allocation I've heard of. Nice!

 

Aubrey Alexander Toyota of Selinsgrove PA has a TRD Pro allocation not spoken for as of Saturday. Solar Octane. 10k markup though. If anyone was interested.

 

I was just told my build for my Pro is phished back from early june to early august, saw on the order sheet that it was in production, do you guys know what is going on ?

 

Yikes. Might be a long wait for hybrids.

 

I just saw on the local Toyota dealership website that they have a Limited hybrid inbound. I'm sure it is spoken for as are most Tundras hitting the lots.
