Barcelona Red Picture thread

There is a separate bronze wheel thread on this forum that I suspect has some red Tundras.

 

I installed this new grill and bought a land cruiser toyota emblem and painted it Barcelona red metallic.I like it better without the chrome surround.

 

I have an update on my 2000 tundra.I almost had 412,000 miles on it when I was coming home from work Friday night April 2 at around 9:30p.m.I went to pass an erratic driver on a two lane road.As I was going past her she hit my rear passenger side wheel and spun me sideways up an embankment and rolled over on my top.It totalled my truck! Thankfully I was not injured.the truck did exactly what it was supposed to do.the driver never stopped! I told the police it was a hit and run and I even had the white paint from the dodge durango that hit me on my truck.Nothing has ever been done about it! These are the kinds of things that cause the police to have a bad name.I just took the insurance money I got from the wreck and paid on my 1 3 Crewmax.I really miss that old tundra.R.I.P!!

Here is my new to me 2020 Tundra! 2020 SR5 CM 4X4 in Barcelona Red. I've had her for 2 months now. So far the only mods I've done is black out badging, matching front window tint with factory tint, led interior lighting and TRD dual exhaust with the black tips.

 

I am glad you are safe and it looks like the roof performed better than I would have expected. Side note about the police, my dads work truck was stolen a few months ago. Three different police departments tailed it through three cities and then just "lost" it. When asked why they didn't do more, the answers all amounted to not being worth the risk in today's climate. It is truly sad. Apologize for derailing.

I love how this color looks in the sun!

 

It's not the same red. The Barcelona is a deeper red while the trd sway bar is a brighter red.

 

Here is my 2020 Platinum. I was never a big red truck fan until I saw this Tundra in Barcelona Red!

Quick story: when I was truck shopping, I went to a Toyota dealer for shits and gigs, and to rule out Toyota (I was dead set on an F150 or Silverado). I test drove a Barcelona red TRD tundra, and IMMEDIATELY fell in love. My only regret about my truck is not getting it that day or another in this color.

 

Here's my 2021 Barcelona Red Limited with the Off Road Package. Picked it up with only 3k miles on it, still smells brand new inside. Planning on Bilstein 5100's up front, TRD rear sway bar, tinted windows, tow mirrors and Extang aluminum tri fold bed cover. Definitely need to upgrade the step bars from the stock Toyota ones, those things are horrible. They are too narrow to almost even step up on, but will do for the time being. Eventually I'll upgrade to 33-34 inch tires once I need to replace the stock tires. I'm sure other upgrades will be coming, but this is a start!

 

What are you guys using for caliper paint to match the red barcelona?

 

On my 2013 I used the Duplicolor brake caliper kit in red. However, after a few months they became dirty so I didn't paint them on my 2020.

Expensive grill. Mine (Trex) was a waste of $800.....it's still boxed up in the back of the truck.

 

It came with the truck so it did not really affect the purchase price. I was surprised how much the Rigid parts go for online. Sure does look good at night offroad.

 

That grille is almost $1k, the 20 inch bar is anywhere from $500-1K depending on the bar, and the pods are a couple hundred.
