What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

I’m finishing up the wiring and adding a relay. The wiring ran through the driver passenger foot well then down the door trim. There’s a cut out where the seat wire harness goes which I just followed. Pretty simple but just takes some tweaking to get it all dialed in.

 

Which jerry can mount did you purchase?

Look nice, but I don't understand why yall doing this delete just dont buy the Sequoia black door handles and direct swap?

 

Just a good ol wash cuz I put it off last week... The soap gave decent results (dried with very little spots, which is an accomplishment with az water) but the lubricity kinda sucked. Wont be using it again, but wont shoot it down if you do.

 

I'm guessing price, and ease of installation you don't have to take the door panels off. I put some SR ones on, install really wasn't that bad but kind of pricy for what they are (~140ish for all 4).

Price($40) and slipping the cover on is better than taking the door panels off.

 

So do you not have to tear down the entire dash to get the head unit out?

 

Playing with the Jerry can placement but most likely leaning to this for accessibility. The tires moving closer to the cab.

 

What size spare is that? Why not remove the spare tire guides and stuff it under the bed?

I'm probably going to bolt on some single e-tracks and then add e-track with o-rings with a 3 point strap to the front of the bed.

Those Wavians look good. I feel like I'm going to need jerry cans now since I'm getting crap mileage on 37s... LOL. I'm on a 26gal, so it's even worse. So far I've managed to get roughly 250 out of a tank averaging 11ish mpg.

 

Do you have a “tow/haul” mode to use? Just curious if that would help your gas mileage.

Bought them at my local Discount Tire. I wanted the Gorilla brand but they've been on backorder for months. I can't remember the brand they carry off-hand but I can look when I get home in a few days.
