Anyone needing a Flight Chocolate delivery!? The wife and I will be coming down to the Portland area on 5/13, before heading out to spend the evening at @gosolo ’s estate.

Willing to bring some chocolate if you are available to meet us around noon somewhere for coffee or mid-day beverage!

Got the compressor in but need to do fine tuning. Also snagged some Jerry cans that need to get mounted in the bed. @RainMan_PNW I might need some wiring assistance/confirmation lol.

According to my current state of inebriation, that mount is pretty sexy.

How much air space is there to the bottom of the seat? Cuz apparently according to the manual, that pump gets hot AF when used.

They do get super hot but there’s enough room for air circulation.

Dammit if mine isn’t causing the same feeling.
I’m trying to think about how to use that mount and still run the air permanently under the frame…

I’d rather have it under the seat getting cool clean air rather than it being pre heated by the engine etc.

I’m sure there’s cab access by the frame you could run the lines wherever

Playing with layout of these cans. New Y strap ordered so I can move the tire up towards the cab. I like the cans closer to the tailgate for access then maybe run a roam case where the tire sits now for extra gear.

Had a CV axle boot fail after about 7 months. :annoyed: Probably what I deserve for getting one from rock auto. Guess it’s time to make the investment in some CVJ axles. Will end up pushing some other mods but oh well. How it goes sometimes.

Might try these instead of the CVJ and save $400. Heard some good things about them here and on the Tacoma forums. Made for lifted trucks/extended travel.

There’s at least one grommet in there.
Of course, just having a coupler piped in and doing a short jumper hose when air is needed would also work.

I need to get my current stuff done before I start looking at air compressors

I think Rago Fab has something like where there's a chuck at each location.

Yep. That’s along the lines of what I was thinking of installing. Then just one more chuck to hook a short house jumper between the under seat location and the outside location so I don’t actually have to route out of the cab.

Mostly finished installing my Ironman bumper. Started raining on me pretty good last night. I only have the middle ambers wired up to the fog lights. I'm trying to decide if I want to hook the light bar and the 2 clear cubes on one switch or separate them. Might try hooking the outer work lights into my blinkers. If any of you love doing lighting and have any suggestions I would love to hear.

I have the wires for the winch next to the battery but didn't get it wired up with the rain coming down. I'm not sure if I want to keep the OEM hook or get a different style. Then tension the winch.

I also need to pull the Valhalla plate and make bigger holes to be able to bolt the plate and tow hooks together.

I have a bumper if anyone in the PNW needs one!

Looks great. Any chance you can share a photo of how the bumper wraps underneath to the skid plate area?

It doesn't really wrap much. The winch tray gets bolted to the stock bumper connection point and the tow hooks. Then the front bumper area attaches to the winch plate.

Hahaha. Yeah…it is all good. Both my kids have had head colds. They were two weeks apart and no one else got sick, so it’s all good now. Just too many weekend plans right now to get out in the trailer! Cannot wait for June to be here!
