I finally bought my Tundra! I wanted one since my cousin bought his in 2014, but now i have my 2022 (last of the V8's!) Platinum and could not be happier. Almost 6 months in with only 1,000 miles (I bought it to tow my toys and the winter is not conducive to dirt bikes), i have been installing mods like a 3" lift, race exhaust with long pipe headers (I chose to NOT go with the supercharger), chip, new air filter and throttle body spacer. I could not be happier! :)

Did you mean to say '21?

'22 they went with Turbo V6.

Congratulations on joining the Tundra Club.

    Welcome from Chicago.

But you mean 21 since you said last of the V8s right?

Like others, I assume you meant a 21. Let’s see it.

Agreed. I don't know if he has any idea what he has. His avatar says 21, his post says 22. He asked.about sway bars in another post. Reading his original post he "chose not to to go with a supercharger". :notsure:

Almost certainly a typo. I’m pretty sure he knows what he has.

Could be the OP chose to buy a '21 due to the V8 and not a '22 with a Turbo V6.
I made the same decision and chose the '21.
    But.... words do matter.

Sorry, it is a '21. I did not want the first year of a new model engine, and I am an 'old' muscle car guy and nothing beats a V8! Pics from the first day attached!
I chose to not go with the supercharger because it now voids the warranty, and with gas prices these days, i figured i could get my 100hp with other mods and still run regular. Gotta to my part to save the planet, right? LOL

    Welcome neighbor.
Did you buy that used? That looks like a Gulf State "TSS" Tundra.

Much better....you have redeemed yourself by posting pictures and proving that a 21 is a better truck than a 22 lol. Now, as far as your question on sway bars. Yes, the TRD sway bar will bolt to the rear. You should have a front sway bar from the factory, and the TRD front sway bar would bolt right in if you chose to replace it.

@2021 Toy Puller don't get the wrong impression. Most people here are really cool.

He didn’t need to redeem himself for a fucking typo man. Self reflection is a very valuable trait you may want to look into.

I was just giving him crap because it was in more than one post as a 22 and not a 21. I also answered his sway bar question. No need for any thread analyst in the forum.

You folks (that is my PC way of addressing a crowd these days, how sad is that!!) are awesome, thanks for the good hearted ribbing as well as the tech info. I am going to order front and rear sway bars NOW!

Like I said, self reflection is valuable. Glad to help those who lack that quality though. If I’d gained a reputation for being needy and annoying, I’d hope someone would give me a hint.

The rear sway bar is a very easy install, and does make a pretty big difference.
