Since you're past the 36 month / 36k mile mark with your truck the only option at this point would be a 3rd party aftermarket warranty.

My wife just purchased a 2022 Camry XLE and with all the electronics it has, I knew I wanted to purchase a warranty. The local dealership's price for a 10 year no deductible warranty was $2600 and it wasn't through Toyota. AZTundra (thanks AZTundra) PM me the info for J's info. I called J and he is a super nice guy and great to work with. All he does is sell warranties. I purchased the Toyota Extra Care Platinum, with Zero deductible, Ten years, 100,000 miles for $1360. These warranties are through Toyota so there is no question that any Toyota dealership will honor the warranty. They have to honor the warranty. If you have all the electronics on your new truck or car you might want to think about buying this warranty.

I have been lurking on Tundras.com for some time now, as I have been looking for a first gen Tundra Double Cab. I decided for this to be my first post here. I stumbled on this thread and now I’m grateful that I did.

I recently bought a Highlander and reached out to AZTundra to inquire about the extended warranty information that everyone has been asking for.

I started by doing my due diligence and googling the dealership where the contact worked. I called the dealership and made sure it existed by using the number on google. I asked if the contact worked there and was transferred to the contact’s phone.

I received a voicemail and left a voice message. I then used the contact’s email address I was provided. I immediately received an out of office auto-reply reading the contact was out of tue office and would return the following day. The email I received had a @xxxxxx.com address which matched the website’s name from google and the one I was provided.

The next day I received a phone call from the contact. By this point I felt comfortable believing that this contact was legit.

The contact was extremely customer service oriented. The contact provided me the information I requested over the phone (which was a quote for an extended warranty for a Highlander Hybrid for the wife).

The contact replied back to my email as well, pretty much stating everything we had talked about. I discussed it with my wife and we moved forward with the purchase.

I highly recommend reaching out, at the very minimum, and asking for a quote. Compare with whatever quote you have received and make a decision for yourself.

I hope this thread continues to be updated so it helps those looking into extended warranties in the future.

I had contact w/Jerry this past week, via text then phone call, and I ended up purchasing a 7/125k ($0 deductible) Platinum from him. Normally I don't purchase extended warranties (especially on a Toyota). However, w/the price of everything automotive skyrocketing, I figured it wasn't a bad idea to pay now and save later (if I end up needing it)... and that if prices continue to rise, these warranties may also begin to begin to price much higher than they already are. Jerry's pricing on all the warranty products he quoted were highly competitive.

Plus, w/the Platinum, Toyota is covering a rental while your truck is down (sorry N/A to CAT theft ), but I figured if nothing else that factor alone may leverage (encourage) the Toyota dealer to complete the repair(s) sooner than later to reduce their overall costs.

Regarding Jerry, he is super easy to deal with and seems like a really friendly, down to earth guy. Just a side note, he can also set you up on a Ford, Lincoln or Mercury product as well.

Thanks to AZ Tundra for the contact info for Jerry, he was great to deal with and was better than competitive on pricing. He told me what he had to offer and he wasn’t pressuring me into anything. Would definitely recommend if you’re thinking of getting an extended warranty give him a shout.

 

I echo what about 23434 other people have said on here. My truck has been reliable as hell...but given we have a '22 4Runner we're paying off over at least 2 years, plus the current economic conditions....I felt it wise to purchase a warranty as a bit of a cushion against potential issues.

Jerry was a pleasure to deal with, and the pricing was great with respect to what others will sell it for. No pressure; and he went quite a bit in depth on what all was offered with it. I highly recommend him if you're considering a warranty.
