Hello guys, I have a 2013 Tundra grade with 3.91 rear diff that has a broken pinion/ring gear. IE: Grinding popping and metal slurry in the fluid.

I have tried ordering a new one but was told by 3 local(TN) Toyota dealers and one online retailer that part number 41110-0C010 is likely backordered until Late June or July.

I found someone parting a wrecked Sequoia near me but the parts numbers do not match.
Anyone know if these parts are compatible?

PS: I had a Used Tundra 3.91 on order and somehow FedEx broke it before it got to me it was returned to the eBay seller. It's my only vehicle so I am looking for the fastest cehapest way to go until I can get a new replacement in.

hmmm maybe not the answer you were looking for, but what about looking at Yukon Gear & Axle and see if they sell the same gear ratio for your truck, or maybe regear to something a little different to get you going?

Sequoia is Independent Rear Suspension while Tundra is solid axle, so no go.

Thanks for the suggestion, I just checked and they do not have the assembly available.
I am also not equipped for rebuilding it myself or I would go that route.

That's a shame, thank you for the update.

It's 2WD, can you afford to re-gear to anything available? 3.91, 4.30, 4.56, 4.88 are all options for that truck.

Best I can tell is that the 5.7L engines have a different axel housing for the 4.30 and larger diffs. They have a 10.5" ring gear while the 3.91 and 4.10 are 9.5" ring.
With that I've only found Crew cab rear axles in my area and they have different mounts than a 6.5' bed/Double cab.
If it wasn't the same cost as what I owe on the truck I'd gone ahead and ordered a whole rear axle+diff assembled from Toyota :(.

If you find out the 4.30 will work, my truck is swapping its gears out as we speak so I'll have 2 sets of them on standby.

You could put an aftermarket LSD in and get yourself back on the road.
