It got warm enough to pull the badges and stickers. I’m happy with the way it looks.

How hard we’re the stickers to get off?

Annoying but not super hard. I was just using ambient temperature and sun but with a hair dryer it’d be easier. Took me 10 - 15 minutes I guess?

Great, thanks. My new rubber wheel came in, the other one was getting too old. The stickers and badges will be off tomorrow

DUDE! The sticker sucks, I got to anxious and did it tonight. Popped Tundra and SR5 right off and then the sticker, oh boy the sticker. That’s ok though, the right side is done (about 15 minutes) and the left will be tomorrow. Otherwise she’s naked now

lol, I debadged the driver side and left the passenger side alone on my 2018. You can't see both sides at the same time. I couldn't decide which I liked better so I left it one of each. lol. I think it's hilarious. If you think that is bad I also considered running icon alloy six speeds on one side and rebounds on the other!
Feel free to ignore me, lol. I think it looks good either way, but debadged is cleaner.

That’s hilarious haha. I’ve had similar thoughts, but my brain would hemorrhage from it not being symmetrical. I know a guy that did that. The car was white on one side and black on the other with different wheels on each side. Pretty cool looking

Has anybody debadged a 1794 yet? Specifically I'm curious about any gotchas with removing the door badges.

I’m sure they’re just like the platinum badges. Peeled mine off with nothing but my hands in less than 5 minutes.

Nice! Thanks. I haven't seen them in person yet and was hoping they weren't attached with hardware that would leave a hole needing to be filled.

I usually debadge but actually like the molding down each side on the platinum in black that is a match to the rest of the truck color EXCEPT for the wider part with the letters spelling out platinum. I colored the letters black but still wish it was just the straight line of molding. It does actually protect the side as well.

Haha, I want to delete the mustache and rear bumper chrome on mine. There’s a guy on here that found vinyl that matches the silver really close

They are the same badges as the platinum, peeled off in seconds using nothing but my hands. 100x easier than I thought it would be and they came off cleanly.

Do you have to wax it after you remove the stickers ?

There are many ways to do it, but I pulled the top layer of the sticker apart. Then I used a rubber wheel to remove the remaining sticker, which pulled everything off without an issue. I clean it up with soap and water and that was it.

As many others have stated. Removing that bedside sticker is a pain in the ass. Props to Toyota on the quality of those things but it did not want to come off cleanly.

I just did my trd sticker a couple days ago and I did a cold peel. It was about 85 that day and the truck sat in the sun all day but I didn't do it until the evening. With some patience it came off with almost no residual sticker in about 15 min each side.

I wanted to do that, but it was still cold outside. I’ve had my truck since the end of November (I believe, maybe beginning of December).

I took the top layer off, the reflective part, then used the rubber wheel to take the rest of it off. Took 5-10 minutes a side.
