What have you done to your 2.5 gen Tundra today?

They replied by saying: "This item is Auto Up/Down and works for all four doors."

 

I asked the ebay seller this: "
Is this item independent auto up/down for all four doors?"
ebay seller replied: "Yes."

Could you let us know what you think about it and how the install was once complete? I was thinking of getting the 20-21 kit for my truck, thank you

 

So I have the 3wliners already which just uses the driver side to control auto up/down for all 4 windows. I want to add an led switch. Anyone have any thoughts on how this new driver side switch would work now that is seems to have the auto built into it ? I am thinking I need the driver side with just the led ( no auto) and then get the 3 passenger switches with the Auto.

 

Yes but I'm still hesitant. I sent another email asking more thorough questions. I'll report back.

 

We are starting to talk about heading down the same path. Our first is almost 9 months. Sounds like great advice to me!

Having all windows "auto up and auto down" would be amazing. Anyone who has bought this let us know how install went and how you are liking it.

I drive with all windows down between 45degrees to 95 degrees and it takes FOREVER to roll them all up to hear when my wife calls

I think the blue of the switch is much more blue then the ice blue of the HVAC controls.

My center cluster is white and think it matches well.

 

Added some engine bay lights with a switch. Also was able to convert the cigarette lighter in the back to a dual USB charging port!

BMC completed this morning at Westcott Designs. Turned out very nice and I'm happy with the result.

Body mount chop to clear larger tires in the front.

Cut part of the frame the body mounts to because it sticks out into the wheel well and weld in a plate.

 

I have the 3w also and installed the LED drivers switch assembly about a month ago. No issues at all. No kids and wife is in truck maybe 30% of the time so I didn't bother with other switches. This pic is in the dark garage and looks brighter than it really is.

 

Ah, I've seen a few pictures of others having it done but none looked as "finished" as yours.

did same a while back and decided to keep the 12 v outlet just in case, never used it yet.

 

Swapped out my OEM chrome lug nuts for one-piece black ones on my TRD wheels today. Makes a huge difference in appearance.

 

Installed some Meso and AJT blackout pieces. Need to decide on a new shift knob next.

 

No issues with the 3W? AutoLoc is junk so time for it to go lol.

So what’s the difference in the 3w brand vs the one someone linked a page or 2 back?

 

The 3W is the control module for auto up and auto down windows. The links are for backlit window switches.
