30 more minutes and I made it through the day without a candy bar, or any other type of candy.

I had a nice talk with Progressive Insurance today when I told them the person they were trying to reach by mail didn't live here. Then I thought, "Shit, she's trying to get a drivers license at our address." Sure enough, the lady that is using our address had her drivers license switched over to our home a month ago. She was able to use her online auto card as proof of living here.

 

Geez dude. Crazy how far "she" has gotten with all that nonsense

 

You need to pay a visit to your District Attorney. This issue is going to haunt you if you don't get legal assistance. You are being victimized here. Bummer!

 

I know - nobody seems to give a shit around here either, which is really making me mad. Except the Post Office, they are looking into it all. I think that's probably for the best anyway - I don't believe Postal Inspectors mess around.

 

I'll give them a call tomorrow. I called DPS, the local Police, the police in Corpus. They don't give a shit.

 

Unfortunately, you may be forced to retain an attorney for this matter. I think that in TX you can ask the courts to have the defendant pay your legal expenses if they are found guilty. An attorney would know that. It just sucks that you have to jump through all these hoops and seemingly no one in your local area even cares. Yup. DA time!

 

Gawd. I hope not. I got to buy a damn roof. I've got the Texas statute she's violating written down. I'm going to call DPS again tomorrow and argue with somebody.

@gosolo - How's your peepers doing now that you've had some healing time?

 

Well, I’m ashamed to admit that a week ago I got a metal shard imbedded in the right eye and spent a day at the hospital getting scanned, treated and fixed. Still recovering from that. Additionally, the corrective glasses I got following the surgery don’t work well. It’s like each eye is focusing on a different plane and stuff is a slightly different size from each eye, so it’s a bit like vertigo. Makes it hard to work on knives, lol

I’m usually pretty good about my PPE, but I wasn’t planning to do any work, just went out to lock the shop and decided to prep a few pieces really quick. So, I went ahead…no goggles, no ear muffs, no air filter…

 

Good Lord, man! Don't they make Safety Glasses up there?!

 

Scratch that - I just got caught up. About 5 years ago, I was making some trim to cover some underpinning I put up and I thought I'd do a fancy cut. I didn't move the metal guard (even though I had been staring at the wording on it that said to move it if you were doing a bevel cut or some shit). The teeth on the blade came flying off and my face got showered in sharp metal shards.

My goatee saved my lips and teeth. I had metal sticking out of my forehead. I was wearing glasses at the time and a piece hit the glass right in front of my right eye. If it weren't for the glasses, I'd have a permanent wink.

I'm gonna have @Fotnot call your wife (he's got all their numbers) and tell her to force you to wear goggles when you are out in the shop.

I'm pretty anal (teehee) about my hearing and eyesight. Always got glasses and ear plugs. Even bought some new plugs that cancel noise while I work/mow so I don't damage hearing. If only I wore sunscreen the way I should.

 

I just finished writing a letter to our Texas in-State Senator. She used to be a DA so I'm hoping she can get somebody at the state level interested or point me in the right direction. Either she's trying to steal my home or she's hiding from bad people. Like Eric Church sings "I don't like to fight, but I ain't scared to bleed." I can think of better ways to spend my Wednesday nights than rolling around in the front yard with bad guys, but whatever I have to do to protect my family.

I hate this shit.

 

I just gotta remember if she's under Jodi 3 or Jodi 4.
