Adaptive variable suspension question

Does anyone know if it is possible to change out to an aftermarket suspension down the road with an avs suspension on a platinum.....really dont want avs,but dealer has one available to buy now....not trying to buy expensive avs struts at 60,000 plus miles when they need replacing.....would rather do aftermarket coilovers but dunno with all the electronic b.s. atached to the avs system.....thanks in advance for any input

I have a 22 Limited with AVS and haven't heard of a spring switch setup.

 

Well seeing how the truck has only been on the road a few months and other than spacers and maybe one suspension lift are available to buy you probably won’t get the answer you are looking for

 

Eventually yes, if you follow the land cruiser/ gx crowd they have done this with no issues. You will either need to pull a fuse, put in a dummy relay or a piece of black tape on the dash.

 

I bet they last more than 60k
