    sooooooo,
On a whim I was looking at those replacement front headlights where the fixture is black and it looks all cool and what not. Normally I don't buy in to stuff like that, I appreciate the stock look, but they were cheaper by a good amount than The stock replacements. So after putting in my trucks info, 2004 tundra double cab limited v8 blah blah blah, it says it only fits the single and access cab. But it fits the double cab for 2005 and 2006. I went over to a friend's place who has an 06 double cab SR5 and it looks the exact same. Am I missing something?

yep bank account is running low from it..
I think it width wise I think it's off for the headlights. The two units are not the same on the inside on headlights. .. just like the turn lamps. Access cab has one light double cab has two I believe it's deeper unit on the access cab?

Retrofit fit them man.. look at my build page first page.

    Mike,
Thanks for the info and yeah I'm just thinking I can use the ones for an access cab and fit them to mine somehow. A little time in the shop and I'm sure I can Frankenstein something together. So this may be a stupid question: how do I access your build page? I'm new to this forum

Got it, found your build page. You've done some awesome work to that thing. I'm sure you don't mind but I'll just duplicate your work with my new head lights. ......and I'm sure some of the other work you've done. Your truck is awesome. I appreciate the help.

I’m looking to do the exact same thing to my ‘04 double cab sr5. How did your black headlights work out?
