Seeings that I’ve been posting in the 3rd gen and not the 2.5, figured I finally correct it and share my story here haha that’s my bad…..

Well it’s a few days late butttt April 8, 2022 MY WIFE GAVE BIRTH IN MY PASSENGER SEAT!!!!

here’s the story… I know it’s long but trust me, unbelievable

On April 8, 2022 my wife had gone into labor at our residence. In a hurry, we grabbed our hospital bag, our almost 17 month old daughter and ourselves and we loaded up into the BIGTRIX. As we headed north it became more and more apparent that our newest addition did not have the patience to wait to enter this world. My wife, doing everything possible she could to hold on, looked at me and said “It’s happening, I feel something!”

We were about a mile away from a Volunteer Fire Company/Rescue Squad when my wife looked at me again only this time saying “I’m not going to make it, we need to go to the fire house or something!” I continued with trying to coach her through what I knew of birthing a child, which is very minimal might I add, when again it was made apparent it was almost time.

In an act of desperation, now knowing we didn’t have time to make to the hospital, we pulled into the front parking lot of the fire house. I ran inside to get help. As I entered the door I see a man with longer white hair and a fantastic white beard. I, in a panic, inform him my wife is in labor and about to give birth in my truck. Without hesitation he looks at me ever so calmly and says “I will be right out”. He hoped into the ambulance parked on the back side of the Fire house and pulls it around to where I had parked. As we approach my wife again she yells “IT’S HAPPENING!”

At this time the EMT/Firefighter had gotten his gloves on and was approaching to assess the situation. As he reached into the front passenger seat of where my wife was to assist her my wife again yells “SHE’S COMING, CATCH HER!” He, still as cool as a cucumber, along with myself see my daughter coming out right there in the front seat of the truck! At this time my wife’s water had not broken so our daughter was being born still in the amniotic sac. Knowing it could be life or death if my daughter was unable to get oxygen, he popped the amniotic sac and delivered our daughter!

Once the amniotic sac was discharged we heard the most beautiful sound, the softest whimpering of a new born and were overwhelmed with joy.

Everyone is happy and healthy and we are truly blessed! Even better news is we had a towel down and with the truck being leather, minor detailing was needed to make it look like nothing happened (THANK GOD).

That's the craziest birth story I have ever heard. Congratulations! It would have been awesome if you could have worked Tundra into a middle name to remember the heritage.

Now that is just wild. Hell of a story.
Don't ever sell that truck. Give it to your daughter in about 16 years!

I was on this bandwagon but after my car accident I’ll pass. I was traveling about 40 mph when a car was pushed out in front of me, and I t boned him. I was wearing my seat belt but hit my head on the driver’s side handle. The 2022 has the handle from the factory. Jut my 2 cents (2,000 miles on it)

It was a VERY tough decision not naming her Trixie…. But after much deliberation we went with Evelyn. Haha

Congratulations! Gald the family is good. When my wife was pregnant i would tell her she would need to ride in the bed to the hospital just in case her water broke. She ended up driving herself

Finally got my Bilstein 6112 & 5160 Installed. I haven't even picked it up from the shop yet.... the tech sent me this pic. I hope it doesn't have a bro lean like it looks in the pic. 3rd setting up front for 1.9" + Coachbuilder shims for 2.5" +/- and +2 Shackles for the rear for 1.25".
