Sitting in a parking lot waiting for the wife to finish an appt. Just watching people drive around and try to park is giving me a mild anxiety attack (seriously). I parked in the far corner and still have idiots circling me.

I kinda want to wrap the truck in bubble wrap.

 

At least you're in it and aren't going to walk outside to see the whole side of it's been torn up. I've had that a couple times and it sucks. Nobody these days has enough character to own it either. They all just slink off and hope nobody knows it was them.

 

Does that happen before or after they leave their shopping cart sitting in the middle of an empty parking spot?

 

Probably after they give it a shove in a random direction.

 

And before they decide walking 60’ from the nearest parking spot to the elevator is way too far for someone of their social status, so the pull a handicap pass out of their glove box, park in the front and then jog into the office

 

Also been counting Teslas that are “missing” the State-mandated front license plate.

I haven't gotten 2 plates in a while, just the one for the rear plate. I'm pretty sure I used to get both, though, 4+ years ago.

 

Varies by state. Up until 2017 front plates were required in WY. Now, so long as the plate mount isn't on it from the factory, you don't have to have one here.

True! Even though it’s a law I’ve yet to pulled over for it. There is a lot of other laws that fall into that same category.

 

I have to go out of town next month, and my truck will likely be parked in the street in front of my house for a week (wife's car is the only one that fits in the garage, and the driveway is the size of a postage stamp). Bugs are crawling all over me as I'm typing just now...

 

I think my wife would stab me if I pulled that, lol. I might be in the minority, but I've been the shit out of my truck enough that door dings and such wouldn't bother me anymore. That said, I still don't want some fuckweasel doing that and would be pissed if I caught them. I'm hoping my sliders just bend their door edge before it makes contact with my panels.

My sil used to take my elderly in-laws shopping or to apts maybe 4-5 times a month but she used their parking placard all the time.I threatened to turn her in a couple times and of course that made me the asshole

X2 I put it on for inspection then it comes off and goes under the backseat ​

It is not unusual for any brand actually in this area. Teslas are just the obvious winner. It is probably some “you are on the Junior varsity team” crap if you run a plate.
